Setup
Powering the Device
Your Audiocrazy ACRC86BT offers three power options:
- AC Power: Connect the provided AC power cord to the unit's AC input and then to a standard 120V wall outlet.
- D-Cell Batteries: For portable use, open the battery compartment on the back of the unit and insert four (4) UM-1 (D-cell) batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Built-in Rechargeable Battery: The unit includes a built-in 2500mAh rechargeable battery. To charge, connect the unit to AC power. The battery will charge automatically.

Loading a Cassette Tape
- Press the STOP/EJECT button to open the cassette compartment door.
- Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards and the tape side facing you.
- Gently close the cassette compartment door until it clicks into place.
Operation
Cassette Playback
- Ensure a cassette tape is loaded.
- Set the FUNCTION selector to TAPE.
- Press the PLAY button to start playback.
- Adjust the VOLUME and BASS controls to your preference.
- Use REWIND or FAST FORWARD to navigate the tape.
- Press PAUSE to temporarily stop playback, and press again to resume.
- Press STOP/EJECT to stop playback and eject the tape.
Cassette Recording
The unit can record audio from the radio, Bluetooth, USB, or the built-in microphone onto a cassette tape.

- Load a blank or recordable cassette tape.
- Select the desired audio source using the FUNCTION selector (RADIO, BLUETOOTH, USB). For microphone recording, ensure no other source is playing.
- Press the RECORD button (red button) simultaneously with the PLAY button to begin recording.
- The VU meter will indicate recording levels.
- Press STOP/EJECT to end the recording.
Radio Operation (AM/FM/SW)
- Set the FUNCTION selector to RADIO.
- Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM/SW reception. For AM, rotate the unit for best signal.
- Use the BAND selector to choose between AM, FM, SW1, or SW2.
- Rotate the TUNING knob to find your desired station. The VU meter will assist in finding the strongest signal.
- Adjust VOLUME and BASS as needed.
Bluetooth Pairing
Stream audio wirelessly from your Bluetooth-enabled device.
- Set the FUNCTION selector to BLUETOOTH. The unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing light or audio prompt.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "ACRC86BT" (or similar name) from the list to pair.
- Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the unit.

USB Playback and Recording
The USB port allows for playing MP3 files from a USB flash drive and recording audio directly to the USB drive.
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port.
- Set the FUNCTION selector to USB.
- The unit will automatically begin playing compatible audio files from the USB drive.
- To record to USB, select your desired audio source (Radio, Bluetooth, Microphone) and then press the RECORD button. The unit will record the audio directly to the connected USB drive.

Using the Microphone
The built-in microphone allows for direct voice recording to a cassette tape or USB drive.
- Ensure a recordable cassette tape is loaded or a USB drive is inserted.
- Set the FUNCTION selector to TAPE or USB.
- Press the RECORD button (red button) simultaneously with the PLAY button.
- Speak clearly into the built-in microphone.
- Press STOP/EJECT to end the recording.
Headphone Use
For private listening, plug any standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack located on the side of the unit. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Cassette Head Cleaning: Periodically clean the cassette head, pinch roller, and capstan with a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol to ensure optimal sound quality and prevent tape damage.
