1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the RETROSUN Replacement Remote Control, designed specifically for Tempur-Pedic Ergo Adjustable Bed Bases. It covers setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your remote control.
Important Note: Please ensure that the appearance and color of your original remote control are exactly the same as the pictures provided in this manual before attempting to use this replacement. This remote control is compatible only with Tempur-Pedic Ergo bases and will not work with other adjustable bed bases.

2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
The remote control requires two 1.5V AAA batteries (not included). To install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery cover downwards to open.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align with the markings inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2.2 Pairing Instructions
Before using the remote control, it must be paired with your Tempur-Pedic Ergo Adjustable Bed Base. Follow these steps carefully:
- Step 1: Ensure your bed base remote has fresh batteries installed.
- Step 2: Locate the Battery Backup Box on your bed base. Press the [POWER DOWN] button on the Battery Backup Box twice. A light on the Battery Backup Box will illuminate.
- Step 3: On the back of the new remote, press and hold down the PAIR button. The PAIR button will illuminate blue and start flashing. Continue holding until the PAIR button stops flashing and the illuminated light on the Battery Backup Box goes out.
- Step 4: Release the PAIR button and test all remote functions to confirm successful pairing.
Note: If the remote does not sync after following these steps, check the remote's batteries and repeat the pairing process.

3. Operating Instructions
The remote control features an intuitive layout for easy operation of your adjustable bed base. Below is a detailed description of each button's function:

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To maintain the remote control's appearance and functionality:
- Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
- For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water; avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not immerse the remote control in water or any other liquid.
4.2 Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or if the indicator light (if present) signals low power. Refer to Section 2.1 for battery installation instructions.
