Product Overview

The ULANZI TT23 is a versatile device combining a selfie stick and a tripod with advanced auto face tracking capabilities. It features a 360° rotating gimbal, adjustable tilt, and a detachable Bluetooth remote control.

Setup

1. Unfolding the Tripod: To deploy the tripod legs, press the red button at the base of the handle. The four legs will automatically extend, providing a stable quad-leg base. Ensure the legs are fully locked into position for stability.
2. Extending the Pole: Gently pull the top section upwards to extend the telescopic pole to your desired height. The pole can extend up to 64 inches (163 cm).
3. Attaching Your Device:
   • For Smartphones: Extend the adjustable phone holder (compatible with devices 2.56–3.74 inches wide) and securely place your smartphone. The holder supports both horizontal and vertical orientations.
   • For Cameras/GoPro/Ring Lights: The tripod features a standard 1/4-inch screw interface. Attach your camera, GoPro action camera, or ring light to this mount.
4. Pairing the Bluetooth Remote: The remote control is detachable. Press and hold the remote's power button until the indicator light flashes, then pair it with your smartphone via Bluetooth settings.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on the main unit to turn the device on or off.
2. Smart Gesture Control for Tracking:
   • To activate face tracking, make an "OK" gesture (👌) with your hand. Hold for 2 seconds to start tracking or switch targets.
   • To pause tracking, make a "Palm" gesture (🖐️) with your hand. Hold for 2 seconds to stop tracking.

3. AI Auto Face Tracking: The built-in AI tracking system automatically identifies and follows your movement, keeping you in focus. For optimal tracking, maintain a distance of 1.6 feet (5 meters) and avoid rapid movements.
4. Adjusting Frame Centering: If the captured frame is not centered, ensure the device is in Pause Tracking Mode. Move the subject to the desired position (center, left, or right of the frame), then press and hold the "Double L" gesture for 2 seconds to initiate tracking with the new center.
5. Flexible Angle Adjustment: The tripod supports multi-directional movement:
   • 360° Rotation: The gimbal rotates horizontally to follow your movement.
   • 270° Tilt Adjustment: Manually adjust the vertical angle for low-angle, high-angle, or overhead shots.
   • 360° Balancing Handle: Provides additional flexibility for various shooting scenarios.

6. Handheld Mode: For stable handheld shots, ensure the gimbal is turned off and locked. This provides a steady grip for smooth footage.
7. Desktop Stand Functionality: The detachable phone holder can be used independently as a tabletop stand for live streaming, video calls, or media consumption.
