1. Product Overview

2. Important Safety Instructions

Upon unpacking, please verify that all items listed below are present and in good condition:

4. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Wash the polycarbonate lid, extender, egg/steam plates, and measuring cup with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the main unit's heating plate with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  3. Assemble: Place the main unit on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Boiling Eggs

  1. Add Water: Use the provided measuring cup to add the appropriate amount of water to the heating plate of the main unit. The measuring cup has markings for soft, medium, and hard-boiled eggs.
  2. Pierce Eggs: Use the egg piercing pin located at the bottom of the measuring cup to gently pierce the larger end of each egg. This helps prevent cracking during boiling.
  3. Place Eggs: Arrange the pierced eggs on the egg plate(s). You can use one or two plates depending on the quantity of eggs (up to 16 eggs). If using two plates, place the polycarbonate extender between the main unit and the top egg plate.
  4. Cover: Place the polycarbonate lid securely on top.
  5. Start Cooking: Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet. Press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the appliance is active and heating.
  6. Automatic Shut-off: The appliance will automatically switch off once all the water has evaporated. The indicator light will turn off.
  7. Serve: Carefully remove the lid (beware of hot steam) and the egg plate(s). Rinse the eggs under cold water to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.

5.2. Steaming Vegetables or Other Foods

  1. Add Water: Pour a suitable amount of water into the heating plate. The amount of water will depend on the steaming time required for your food.
  2. Prepare Food: Place chopped vegetables, dumplings, or momos onto the steam food plate(s).
  3. Assemble: Place the steam food plate(s) on the main unit. If using two plates, use the polycarbonate extender.
  4. Cover: Place the polycarbonate lid securely on top.
  5. Start Steaming: Plug in and press the power button. The indicator light will turn on.
  6. Monitor: The appliance will automatically shut off when the water evaporates. For longer steaming times, you may need to add more water.
  7. Serve: Carefully remove the lid and the steamed food.

5.3. Using as a Hot Plate (Non-stick Cooking Plate)

The non-stick heating plate can be used for preparing instant noodles or scrambled eggs directly.

  1. Prepare: Ensure the heating plate is clean and dry. Add a small amount of oil or butter if needed for scrambled eggs.
  2. Add Ingredients: Place instant noodles with water, or pour beaten eggs directly onto the non-stick plate.
  3. Cook: Plug in and press the power button. Stir as needed for scrambled eggs.
  4. Monitor: The appliance will continue to heat until the water evaporates or the power button is pressed again to turn it off.
  5. Serve: Carefully transfer the cooked food.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your appliance.

  • Always Unplug: Before cleaning, ensure the appliance is unplugged and has cooled down completely.
  • Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. For the non-stick heating plate, gently wipe with a soft sponge and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers, as this can damage the non-stick coating. Never immerse the main unit in water.

  • Mineral Deposits: Over time, mineral deposits may form on the heating plate. To remove, add a small amount of vinegar and water to the heating plate and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Gently scrub with a non-abrasive sponge and rinse.
  • Storage: Store the appliance in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture, when not in use.
