1. Safety Instructions
Read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating the VEVOR PCP Air Compressor. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or property damage.
- High Pressure Hazard: This compressor generates extremely high pressure (up to 4500 PSI / 30Mpa). Always ensure all connections are secure and rated for the pressure. Never point the air outlet at people or animals.
- Over-Pressurization: Do not overfill air tanks or cylinders beyond their rated maximum pressure. The compressor features an automatic stop function; ensure it is set correctly for your tank's specifications.
- Overheating: The compressor generates heat during operation. Ensure adequate ventilation and allow the unit to cool down between uses. The fan cooling system must operate correctly. Monitor the temperature gauge.
- Electrical Safety: Connect the compressor to a properly grounded power outlet. Do not operate in wet conditions. Inspect power cords for damage before each use.
- Lubrication: Use only EC750 edible grade lubricating oil as specified. Incorrect oil can damage the compressor and contaminate the air.
- Air Quality: The multi-layer filtration system helps ensure clean, dry air. Regularly check and replace filter elements (activated carbon, molecular sieve, filter cotton) to maintain air quality.
- Bleed Valve: Always open the bleed valve to release residual pressure before disconnecting hoses or performing maintenance.
- Children and Pets: Keep the compressor out of reach of children and pets.

3. Setup
- Check Oil Level: Before first use, or after extended storage, check the oil level. The oil should be visible between the two grids on the oil sight glass. Add EC750 edible grade lubricating oil if necessary.
- Connect Power:
- For AC power (110V/220V): Connect the supplied AC power cord to the designated port on the compressor and then to a grounded mains power outlet.
- For DC 12V power: Connect the DC power cables (red to positive, black to negative) to a 12V car battery or suitable power supply.

Figure 3: Illustration of connecting the AC power cord to the compressor unit. - Connect Air Hose and Filter:
- Attach one end of the high-pressure air hose to the compressor's output port. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Attach the other end of the air hose to your PCP air rifle, paintball tank, or scuba tank. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- If using an external desiccant filter, connect it in-line between the compressor and the tank.
- Set Desired Pressure: Manually rotate the needle of the automatic shut-off system on the pressure gauge to your desired pressure. Ensure this setting does not exceed the maximum pressure rating of your air tank or the compressor (4500 PSI / 30Mpa).
- Close Bleed Valve: Locate the bleed valve on the compressor and turn it clockwise to close it. It needs to be tight to prevent air leakage during operation.

4. Operating Instructions
- Initial Run (First Use or After Maintenance): For the first use, or after maintenance, open both the first stage drain valve and the two-stage release valve. Run the compressor without load for two minutes to ensure proper function and clear any residual moisture. Then turn off the power switch.
- Start Compressor: Press the POWER button on the compressor. The compressor will start audibly, and the fan will activate automatically.
- Monitor Pressure and Temperature: Continuously monitor the pressure gauge and the LCD temperature display during operation.
- Pressure: Ensure the pressure does not exceed the preset limit or the tank's maximum rating. The compressor will automatically shut off when the preset pressure is reached.
- Temperature: If the temperature exceeds 80°C (176°F), the unit will automatically shut off to protect the machine. Keep the fan running and wait for 10-15 minutes to cool down before restarting.

Figure 4: Displays the pressure gauge, temperature gauge, and safety valve, emphasizing high-pressure performance and safety features. - Automatic Shut-off: Once the target pressure is reached, the compressor will automatically stop. The fan may continue to run to cool the unit.
- Release Pressure and Disconnect:
- Turn off the compressor power switch.
- Slowly open the bleed valve to release any residual pressure in the hose. You will hear air escaping.
- Once the pressure is fully released, disconnect the air hose from the tank and the compressor.

5. Maintenance
- Oil Replacement: Regularly check and replace the lubricating oil. Use only EC750 edible grade oil. Refer to the specific instructions in the included user manual for frequency and procedure.
- Filter Replacement: The gas filtration system uses Activated Carbon, Molecular Sieve, and Filter Cotton. These components need periodic replacement to ensure optimal air quality and prevent moisture buildup. Replace them according to usage or if air quality degrades.
- Moisture Management: After each use, especially in humid environments, open the bleed valve to release any accumulated moisture from the system. This prevents corrosion and extends the lifespan of the compressor and your air tanks.
- Cooling System: Keep the cooling fan and vents clear of obstructions to ensure efficient heat dissipation. Clean any dust or debris regularly.
- General Cleaning: Keep the exterior of the compressor clean and free from dirt and debris.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor does not start | No power, power switch off, fuse blown. | Check power connection, ensure switch is ON, check and replace fuse if necessary. |
| Compressor stops unexpectedly (E4 error) | Reached preset pressure, overheating (temperature > 80°C). | If at preset pressure, it's normal. If overheating, allow to cool for 10-15 minutes with fan running before restarting. Ensure proper ventilation. |
| Slow inflation or low pressure | Bleed valve open, loose connections, clogged filters, low oil. | Ensure bleed valve is closed. Check all connections for tightness. Inspect and replace filters. Check oil level and add if low. |
| Excessive moisture in air | Worn or saturated filters, high ambient humidity. | Replace activated carbon, molecular sieve, and filter cotton. Regularly use the bleed valve to drain moisture. Consider operating in a less humid environment if possible. |
| Unusual noise or vibration | Loose components, insufficient lubrication, internal issue. | Check for and tighten any loose screws or parts. Verify oil level. If problem persists, contact customer support. |
