2. Safety Information

• Always install and use the gate as instructed.
• This gate is designed for use with children from 6 to 24 months. It can also be used for pets.
• Never leave children unattended.

• Regularly check all fasteners to ensure they are tight and secure.

4. Installation Instructions

This gate requires hardware mounting for secure installation. A drill will be necessary for this process.

4.1 Prepare the Installation Area

• Measure the opening where the gate will be installed. The gate is adjustable from 34 to 53 inches wide.
• Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound and capable of supporting the gate.
• Clean the installation area to ensure proper adhesion of any mounting components.

4.2 Mounting the Brackets

• Position the gate in the desired opening. Use the water leveler (L) to ensure the gate is straight.
• Mark the locations for the four brackets (G) on both sides of the opening. Two brackets will be for the upper pivot points and two for the lower.
• Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Insert the plugs (I) into the pilot holes.
• Secure the brackets (G) to the wall using the screws (J).

4.3 Attaching the Gate

• Attach the main gate assembly (A) to the installed brackets.
• Connect the upper lock head fixed rod (B) and lower lock head fixed rod (C) to the gate and secure them to the corresponding brackets.
• Ensure the gate swings freely and the locking mechanism engages properly.

4.4 Adjusting for Baseboards

The gate features adjustable base components to accommodate various baseboard heights, allowing for both flush and off-the-floor installations.

• Adjust the lower pivot base (F) as needed to clear baseboards.
• Use the hex screwdriver (M) to tighten any adjustable components once the desired fit is achieved.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Opening the Gate

The gate features a two-step unlocking mechanism for enhanced safety, designed for easy one-handed operation by adults.

• Step 1: Pull back the tab on the top latch mechanism.
• Step 2: While holding the tab back, lift the gate handle slightly and push or pull the gate open.

5.2 Closing the Gate (Automatic Closing)

The gate is equipped with an automatic closing function for convenience and safety.

• If the gate is opened to an angle between 20° and 90°, it will automatically swing shut and lock.
• If the gate is opened to a full 90° angle, it will remain open, allowing for spacious access. To close from this position, gently push the gate until it is within the 20°-90° range, and it will auto-close.

5.3 No Bottom Bar Design

This gate features a no-bottom-bar design to eliminate tripping hazards, providing a clear and safe pathway.

6. Maintenance
