Before operating the WENOKER Water Rowing Machine, please read and understand all instructions in this manual. Keep this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the equipment.
- Consult a Physician: Always consult with a physician before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions.
- Weight and Height Limits: This rowing machine is designed for users up to 350 lbs (158 kg) and approximately 77 inches (195 cm) in height. Do not exceed these limits.
- Proper Placement: Place the rowing machine on a flat, stable surface. Ensure adequate clear space around the machine (at least 2 feet) for safe operation.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the rowing machine during operation. This equipment is not a toy.
- Inspection: Before each use, inspect the machine for loose parts, wear, or damage. Do not use if any components are compromised.
- Proper Form: Use correct rowing technique to prevent injury. Refer to instructional videos or a fitness professional if unsure.
- Water Tank: Do not overfill the water tank. Use only clean tap water and the provided water treatment tablets.
- Moving the Machine: Use the built-in transport wheels when moving the machine. Lift with your legs, not your back.
2. Setup and Assembly
The WENOKER Water Rowing Machine is designed for quick and straightforward assembly, with approximately 98% of the unit pre-installed. All necessary tools are included.
2.1 Unpacking and Component Check
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Verify that all parts listed in the packing list (refer to the separate assembly guide) are present and undamaged.
2.2 Assembly Steps
Follow the detailed instructions provided in the separate assembly manual for step-by-step guidance. Typical assembly involves attaching the main rail to the water tank unit and securing the seat.

Figure 2.2.1: Main components for assembly. The machine arrives largely pre-assembled, requiring minimal final setup.
2.3 Filling the Water Tank
- Locate the water tank fill port, usually on top of the tank.
- Use the included pump and hose to fill the tank with clean tap water.
- Fill to the desired resistance level, indicated by the 6 water level markers on the tank. Do not exceed the 'MAX FILL' line.
- Add one water treatment tablet to the tank after filling to prevent algae growth.
- Securely close the fill port cap.

2.4 Installing Monitor Batteries
- The monitor requires 2 AAA batteries (included).
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the monitor.
- Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment securely.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Adjusting Water Resistance
The WENOKER Water Rowing Machine utilizes dynamic water resistance, which naturally adjusts based on your rowing intensity. For a higher base resistance, increase the water level in the tank. For lower resistance, decrease the water level.
- The water tank features 6 distinct water level markers.
- To increase resistance, add water using the pump (refer to Section 2.3).
- To decrease resistance, use the pump to remove water from the tank.

3.2 Using the Adjustable Monitor and Bluetooth APP
The integrated monitor tracks your workout data, and the machine can connect to the KINOMAP app via Bluetooth for enhanced tracking and interactive training.
- Monitor Functions: The monitor displays key metrics such as distance, time, calories burned, strokes per minute (SPM), total strokes, and odometer (ODO).
- Bluetooth Connectivity: Download the KINOMAP app on your smartphone or tablet. Enable Bluetooth on your device and follow the app's instructions to pair with the rowing machine.
- Data Sync: Once synced with the KINOMAP app, the rowing machine's monitor may enter a sleep mode, with data displayed on your connected device.
- Tablet Holder: The adjustable monitor arm includes a phone/tablet holder, allowing you to view instructional videos or the KINOMAP app during your workout. (Tablet not included).

3.3 Proper Rowing Technique
Effective rowing involves a coordinated movement of legs, core, and arms. Focus on a smooth, continuous motion.
- The Catch: Knees bent, shins vertical, arms extended forward, back straight, shoulders relaxed.
- The Drive: Push off with your legs, then swing your back, and finally pull with your arms towards your abdomen.
- The Finish: Legs extended, back slightly reclined, handle at your abdomen, elbows past your body.
- The Recovery: Extend arms forward, then pivot from the hips, and finally bend knees to slide forward to the catch position.

3.4 Folding and Storage
The WENOKER rowing machine features a 180° foldable design and built-in wheels for easy storage and portability.
- To fold, lift the rear section of the machine until it locks into an upright position.
- Ensure the machine is securely locked before moving.
- Use the transport wheels to roll the folded machine to your desired storage location.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your WENOKER Water Rowing Machine.
4.1 Water Tank Care
- Add a water treatment tablet every 3-6 months, or as needed, to prevent algae and bacterial growth.
- If the water becomes discolored, drain the tank, clean it with a mild solution (e.g., diluted vinegar), rinse thoroughly, and refill with fresh water and a new treatment tablet.
4.2 Cleaning
- Wipe down the frame, seat, and handle with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the wood finish or plastic components.
4.3 Component Inspection
- Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and connections to ensure they are tight. Tighten if necessary.
- Inspect the foot straps, handle webbing, and seat rollers for signs of wear or damage. Replace any worn parts immediately.
- Ensure the rail is clean and free of debris to allow for smooth seat movement.
5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your rowing machine.
5.1 Monitor Not Displaying Data
- Check Batteries: Ensure the 2 AAA batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Sensor Connection: Verify that the sensor cable from the water tank unit is securely connected to the monitor.
- Bluetooth Interference: If connected to an app, ensure the app is running correctly and there's no Bluetooth interference. The monitor may sleep when connected to an external device.
5.2 Resistance Feels Too Low or Too High
- Water Level: Adjust the water level in the tank. More water increases base resistance, less water decreases it. Refer to Section 3.1.
- Rowing Intensity: Remember that water resistance is dynamic; the harder you pull, the more resistance you will feel.
5.3 Squeaking or Unusual Noises
- Loose Connections: Check all bolts and nuts and tighten any that are loose.
- Seat Rollers: Ensure the seat rollers and rail are clean. Wipe away any dust or debris. A small amount of silicone-based lubricant (not oil-based) can be applied to the rail if needed, but typically is not required for smooth operation.
- Water Tank: Ensure the water tank is properly sealed and not leaking.
5.4 Seat Not Moving Smoothly
- Clean Rail: Clean the seat rail thoroughly to remove any dirt or foreign objects.
- Roller Condition: Inspect the seat rollers for damage or excessive wear.
