1. Product Overview
The Temracha Wireless Freezer Thermometer is designed to monitor temperatures in up to three zones simultaneously: indoor ambient conditions and two external zones (e.g., refrigerator and freezer). It features a clear, color-coded display, customizable alarms, and historical data tracking.

3. Setup
3.1 Powering the Main Unit
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment. The display will briefly illuminate.
- USB Power: For continuous backlight and power, connect the provided 1.5m USB cable to the main unit's USB port and plug the other end into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port. Batteries can serve as a backup during power outages.
3.2 Sensor Placement and Pairing
The remote sensors are designed for use in refrigerators, freezers, or other environments requiring temperature monitoring. They have a wireless range of over 300 feet in open air.
- Sensor Activation: Open the battery compartment on each remote sensor and insert 2 AAA batteries (not included). The sensor will automatically begin transmitting data.
- Automatic Pairing: The main unit will automatically search for and pair with the remote sensors. Once paired, the sensor readings will appear on the main display in Channel 1 (green) and Channel 2 (blue) sections. If a sensor does not connect, press the +/CLE button on the main unit to initiate a manual search.
- Placement: Place the remote sensors in your desired monitoring locations (e.g., inside a refrigerator or freezer). Ensure the sensors are not obstructed by metal objects that could interfere with the wireless signal.

3.3 Setting Time and Date
- Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digit will flash.
- Use the +/CLE and -/RF buttons to adjust the value.
- Press MODE again to confirm and move to the next setting (minute, year, month, day, DST).
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all settings are configured. Press MODE one last time to exit setting mode.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Understanding the Display
The large LCD screen provides a comprehensive overview of your environment:
- Indoor Section (Light Yellow): Displays current indoor temperature and humidity, along with time, date, and comfort indicator.
- Channel 1 (Green): Shows temperature and humidity from the first remote sensor, including MAX/MIN records.
- Channel 2 (Blue): Shows temperature and humidity from the second remote sensor, including MAX/MIN records.
- Comfort Indicator: Icons indicate current humidity levels (Dry, Comfort, Wet).

4.2 Setting Temperature Alarms
You can set custom high and low temperature alarms for Channel 1 and Channel 2.
- Press the CH1 or CH2 button to select the desired channel for alarm setting.
- Press and hold the MODE button until the alarm icon appears and the high temperature limit flashes.
- Use the +/CLE and -/RF buttons to adjust the high temperature limit.
- Press MODE to confirm and move to the low temperature limit. Adjust using +/CLE and -/RF.
- Press MODE again to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
- To enable or disable the alarm for a channel, press the CH1 or CH2 button, then briefly press the MODE button. The alarm icon will appear or disappear.
Alarm Range: -40°F to 158°F / -40°C to 70°C.
4.3 Backlight Control
- USB Powered: When powered by USB, briefly press the light bulb icon button on the top of the unit to cycle through 3 adjustable backlight brightness levels.
- Battery Powered: When powered by batteries, the backlight will automatically turn off after 10 seconds to conserve power. Briefly press any button to activate it for 10 seconds.
4.4 Toggling Historical Data
To view historical MAX/MIN temperature and humidity records:
- Briefly press the +/CLE button to toggle between 24-hour and all-time MAX/MIN records for all displayed channels.
- To reset the MAX/MIN records, press and hold the +/CLE button for 3 seconds.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the main unit and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the devices in water.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main unit and remote sensors when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure correct polarity.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Display / Unit Not Powering On:
- Check if batteries are inserted correctly with proper polarity.
- Replace old batteries with new ones.
- If using USB power, ensure the cable is securely connected and the power adapter is functional.
- Remote Sensors Not Connecting / Displaying Data:
- Ensure batteries are installed correctly in the remote sensors.
- Replace sensor batteries if they are low.
- Make sure sensors are within the wireless range (up to 300 feet in open air) and not blocked by thick walls or large metal objects.
- Press the +/CLE button on the main unit to manually search for sensors.
- Inaccurate Temperature Readings:
- Allow sufficient time (at least 30 minutes) for sensors to stabilize after placement in a new environment.
- Ensure sensors are not placed directly in sunlight or near heat sources/vents.
- Alarm Not Sounding:
- Verify that the alarm function is enabled for the specific channel (alarm icon should be visible).
- Check that the set high/low temperature thresholds are appropriate for the monitored environment.
- Ensure the main unit has sufficient battery power or is connected via USB.
