4. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the chair's adjustable features to optimize your comfort and support.

  • Chair Height Adjustment: To raise the chair, lift the lever located under the right side of the seat while taking your weight off the seat. To lower the chair, lift the lever while seated. Release the lever at the desired height.
  • Lumbar Support Adjustment: The adaptive lumbar support can be adjusted vertically. Locate the knob on the backrest and rotate it to adjust the firmness, or slide the lumbar support up or down to target your specific pressure points.
  • Armrest Adjustment (Flip-Up): The armrests are designed to flip up 90 degrees. Simply grasp an armrest and rotate it upwards to move it out of the way, allowing for closer access to your desk or for space efficiency.
  • Foot Ring Height Adjustment: Loosen the knob on the foot ring to slide it up or down the gas lift cylinder. Re-tighten the knob firmly at your preferred height to provide proper leg support.
  • Tilt Tension Adjustment: The tilt tension knob, usually located under the front of the seat, controls the resistance when reclining. Turn clockwise to increase tension (harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (easier to recline).
  • Tilt Lock: To lock the backrest in an upright position, push the height adjustment lever inwards. To unlock and allow reclining, pull the lever outwards.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps prolong the life and appearance of your chair.

  • Cleaning: For the breathable mesh backrest and fabric seat, use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten as needed to maintain stability.
  • Caster Care: Keep casters free of hair and debris to ensure smooth movement. You may occasionally clean them with a damp cloth.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade fabric and degrade plastic components.
