Setup: Installing the Watch Strap
To install your new watch strap, you will typically need a spring bar tool. If your watch strap came with tools, please use those. Otherwise, a standard watch spring bar tool can be used.
- Remove the Old Strap: Locate the spring bars that hold your current watch strap to the watch lugs. Use the forked end of the spring bar tool to compress one end of the spring bar, gently pulling the strap away from the watch case until the spring bar detaches. Repeat for the other side of the strap and the other spring bar.
- Insert Spring Bars into New Strap: Carefully insert the spring bars into the channels at the ends of your new leather watch strap.
- Attach New Strap to Watch: Insert one end of a spring bar into a lug hole on your watch. Using the spring bar tool, compress the other end of the spring bar and guide it into the corresponding lug hole. Ensure both ends of the spring bar are securely seated in the lug holes. Gently tug on the strap to confirm it is firmly attached.
- Repeat for Second Half: Repeat the process for the second half of the watch strap.

Operating: Wearing and Adjusting the Strap
Your leather watch strap is designed for comfort and a customizable fit. The genuine leather material is soft and will conform to your wrist over time.
- Wearing: Place the watch on your wrist, threading the longer strap end through the buckle.
- Adjusting Fit: Select the hole that provides a snug yet comfortable fit. The strap features multiple holes to accommodate various wrist sizes. Ensure the watch does not slide freely on your wrist but also does not feel overly tight.
- Securing: Pass the excess strap through the two keepers (loops) to secure it in place.

Maintenance and Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your genuine leather watch strap. Leather develops a unique patina over time, which is a natural characteristic of the material.
- Avoid Excessive Moisture: While the strap may tolerate minor splashes, prolonged exposure to water, sweat, or humidity should be avoided. If the strap gets wet, gently wipe it dry with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry completely away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Cleaning: For light cleaning, wipe the strap with a soft, slightly damp cloth. For deeper cleaning or conditioning, use a leather cleaner and conditioner specifically designed for genuine leather products. Follow the product's instructions carefully.
- Storage: When not in use, store your watch strap in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and drying out.
- Avoid Chemicals: Do not expose the strap to harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the leather.

Troubleshooting
- Strap Does Not Fit: Ensure you have selected the correct size (24.16mm) for your watch model. If the strap is too wide or too narrow for your watch's lugs, it may not be compatible.
- Difficulty Installing Spring Bars: Ensure the spring bars are correctly aligned with the lug holes. Sometimes, a slight angle or gentle pressure with the spring bar tool is needed to seat them properly. Do not force the spring bar, as this can damage the watch lugs or the strap.
- Leather Appears Dry or Stiff: This is common for new leather or if it has been exposed to dry conditions. Regular use and occasional application of a quality leather conditioner will help soften the strap and restore its suppleness.
