2. Product Features
- Wireless Outdoor Temperature Sensor: Transmits outdoor temperature data to the clock. Optimal placement is within 330 feet (100 meters) of the clock, away from direct sunlight and rain.
- Digital Wall Clock or Desk Clock: Features a jumbo 10-inch height time digital display. Can be used as a wall clock or a desk clock. Designed for ease of reading, use, and setup, including manual time adjustment.
- Atomic Clock with Backlight Function: Built-in receiver automatically synchronizes with WWVB broadcasts for daily time updates, ensuring accuracy. Supports 4 time zones (EST, CST, MST, PST). A backlight function is available, activated by pressing the top button for 10 seconds, allowing clear viewing at night.
- Automatic Daylight Saving Time (DST): Automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time (spring forward/fall back) when enabled. Corresponding icons are displayed when DST or alarms are active.
- Battery Operated: The atomic clock requires 3 AA batteries (not included). The wireless outdoor sensor requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Both units are battery-powered, requiring no external power source.
3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation
- Main Unit (Clock): Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock. Insert 3 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
- Wireless Outdoor Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the back of the sensor. Insert 2 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
3.2. Sensor Pairing
To ensure successful pairing, power on the main unit (clock) first, then the sensor, within 3 minutes of each other. The clock will automatically search for the sensor signal.

3.3. Initial Time Synchronization (Atomic Clock)
After battery installation, the clock will attempt to synchronize with the WWVB atomic clock signal. This process may take several minutes to several hours depending on your location and signal strength. Ensure the clock is placed in an area with good reception, away from electronic interference.

Image 3.2: The atomic clock automatically synchronizes with the WWVB signal for accurate timekeeping.
3.4. Time Zone and DST Selection
The clock supports 4 time zones: EST, CST, MST, and PST. You can select your local time zone using the buttons on the back of the clock. Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' section for specific button functions. The clock also features an automatic Daylight Saving Time (DST) adjustment. Ensure this feature is enabled if applicable to your region.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Display Overview
The large LCD display shows the current time, date, day of the week, indoor temperature, outdoor temperature (from the wireless sensor), and weather forecast icons. Various indicators for alarms, DST, and signal strength are also present.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Battery Replacement
When the battery low indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries in both the main unit and the outdoor sensor with new ones. Always replace all batteries at the same time to ensure optimal performance.
5.2. Cleaning
Wipe the clock and sensor surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the display or casing.
5.3. Wireless Sensor Placement
For accurate outdoor temperature readings, place the wireless sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct sunlight and rain. Ensure it is within the 330-foot (100-meter) range of the main clock unit and away from large metal objects or other sources of interference.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1. No Outdoor Temperature Reading
- Ensure batteries in both the main unit and sensor are fresh and correctly installed.
- Verify the sensor is within range (330 feet/100 meters) of the main unit.
- Relocate the sensor or main unit to minimize interference from other electronic devices or large metal structures.
- Re-pair the sensor by removing and reinserting batteries in both units, powering the main unit first.
6.2. Atomic Time Synchronization Failure
- Ensure the clock is placed in an area with good reception, ideally near a window and away from electronic devices that may cause interference.
- Check that the correct time zone is selected.
- Manual time adjustment is possible if atomic synchronization is consistently unsuccessful. Refer to the 'SET' button instructions on the back of the clock.
6.3. Display Issues (e.g., dim, incomplete segments)
- Replace the batteries in the main unit.
- Ensure the clock is operating within its specified temperature range.
