Setup

Before operating your dehumidifier, ensure proper placement and drainage setup.

Placement

  • Place the unit on a level surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.
  • Avoid placing the unit near heat-generating appliances or in direct sunlight.

Drainage Options

Your VEVOR dehumidifier offers two drainage methods:

  1. Manual Drainage (Water Tank): The unit will collect water in its internal tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and alert you. Carefully remove the tank and empty the collected water.
  2. Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose): For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, attach the included drain hose to the drainage port on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink) ensuring it is sloped downwards for gravity drainage.
