1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the UPRUBE Vacuum Sealer. This device is designed to extend the freshness of your food by removing air from specially designed bags and containers, preventing spoilage and freezer burn. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure safe and efficient use.

3. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the components of your vacuum sealer:

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

1. Remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
2. Inspect the unit for any visible damage. Do not operate if damaged.
3. Wipe the unit with a damp cloth before first use.

4.2 Loading the Vacuum Bag Roll

1. Open the lid of the vacuum sealer.
2. Place the vacuum bag roll into the internal storage compartment.
3. Pull out the desired length of bag material and position it under the built-in cutter.
4. Slide the cutter bar across to create a custom-sized bag.
5. To create a bag, you must first seal one end. Place one end of the cut bag material onto the sealing strip.
6. Close the lid and firmly press down on both sides until it clicks securely.
7. Select 'Manual Seal' (or 'Vac & Seal' if you want to vacuum first) and press 'Enter'. The digital timer will show progress.
8. Once the process is complete, unlock the lid and remove your newly formed bag.

5. Operating Instructions

The UPRUBE Vacuum Sealer offers 9-in-1 smart functions for diverse food preservation needs. Always ensure the bag opening is clean, dry, and free of wrinkles for an optimal seal.

5.1 Sealing Dry Foods

1. Place the dry food item(s) into the vacuum bag, leaving at least 1 inch of space from the top opening.
2. Position the bag's open end flat in the vacuum chamber, ensuring it aligns with the Positioning Slot.
3. Close the lid and firmly press down on both sides until it clicks securely into place.
4. Select 'Dry' mode on the control panel.
5. Press 'Enter Vacuum Seal' to begin the vacuuming and sealing process.
6. Monitor the digital timer. Once complete, unlock the lid and remove the sealed bag.

5.2 Sealing Moist or Damp Foods

1. Place the moist or damp food item(s) into the vacuum bag, leaving at least 1 inch of space from the top opening.
2. Position the bag's open end flat in the vacuum chamber, ensuring it aligns with the Positioning Slot.
3. Close the lid and firmly press down on both sides until it clicks securely into place.
4. Select 'Moist' or 'Damp' mode on the control panel, depending on the moisture level.
5. Press 'Enter Vacuum Seal' to begin the vacuuming and sealing process.
6. Monitor the digital timer. Once complete, unlock the lid and remove the sealed bag.

5.3 Using External Vacuum for Canisters/Jars

1. Ensure the vacuum sealer lid is firmly closed and locked.
2. Connect one end of the external vacuum hose to the external vacuum port on the sealer unit.
3. Firmly press the other end of the hose onto the vacuum port of your compatible canister or jar lid until you hear a click.
4. Press 'Vac' for continuous suction or 'Pulse Vacuum' for controlled vacuum. Release when desired vacuum level is reached.
5. Once vacuuming is complete, remove the hose from the canister/jar and the sealer unit.

5.4 Special Functions

• Gentle/Normal Pressure: Use 'Gentle' for delicate items (e.g., soft fruits, pastries) to prevent crushing. 'Normal' is for general use.
• Pulse Vacuum: Provides manual control over the vacuum process, allowing you to stop suction at any time.
• Manual Seal: Seals a bag without vacuuming. Useful for creating custom-sized bags or sealing delicate items.
• High-Temp Mode: Long press the 'Manual Seal' button for 4 seconds to activate. This mode is designed for sealing thicker vacuum bags.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Vacuum Sealer

1. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2. Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.
3. Clean the vacuum chamber and sealing strip with a damp cloth to remove any food residue. Ensure these areas are dry before next use.
4. The drip tray (if removable) should be cleaned regularly to prevent odor and bacterial growth.

6.2 Storage

Store the vacuum sealer in a cool, dry place with the lid unlatched to prevent compression of the sealing gaskets, which can affect performance over time.
