3. Product Overview

The VEHOP D88 earbuds feature an open-ear design for comfort and environmental awareness. The charging case provides portable power and includes a digital display for battery status.

3.1. Touch Controls

The earbuds are equipped with touch-sensitive controls for easy management of music, calls, and other functions. Refer to the diagram below for specific gestures.

• Power On: Take out of the case.
• Power Off: Press and hold for 5 seconds, or simply return to the case.
• Play/Pause/Regeneration: Tap left/right earbud once.
• Next/Previous Song: Tap the right earbud twice.
• Receive a Call: Tap left/right earbud once.
• Reject a Call: Press and hold left and right earbuds for 2 seconds.
• Voice Assistant: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds.
• Adjust Volume: Tap right earbud 3 times to increase volume; tap left earbud 3 times to decrease volume.
• Automatic Pairing: Occurs when first turned on.

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. The charging case can be fully charged in approximately 1.5 hours using the provided Type-C cable.

1. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated.
2. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and to a USB power source.
3. The digital display on the charging case will indicate the charging status and battery level.
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.

A single charge provides over 5 hours of playtime, with the charging case extending total playtime to approximately 45 hours. The standby time is up to 120 hours.

4.2. Pairing with a Device

The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.4 for a stable and efficient connection.

1. Initial Pairing:
   • Open the charging case and take out both earbuds. They will automatically enter pairing mode.
   • On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
   • Search for "D88" in the list of available Bluetooth devices and select it to connect.
   • Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the earbuds will be ready for use.
2. Automatic Reconnection:
   • After the initial pairing, the earbuds will automatically connect to the last paired device when taken out of the charging case, provided Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

• Play/Pause: Tap either earbud once.
• Next Track: Tap the right earbud twice.

• Answer/End Call: Tap either earbud once.
• Reject Call: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds.

• Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds.
