Please read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
2. Important Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before use.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse the cord, plugs, or the appliance base in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.

4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the inner pot, steamer, idli stand, egg tray, and glass lid with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the main kettle unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main kettle unit or power base in water.
- Placement: Place the power base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
- Connect: Place the main kettle unit onto the power base. Ensure it is seated correctly.
5. Operation
The Cookwell Multipurpose Cook Kettle offers various cooking modes. Always ensure the kettle is placed on its power base and plugged into a suitable electrical outlet before operation.
5.1. Boiling Water or Milk
- Fill the nonstick inner pot with the desired amount of water or milk. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Place the inner pot into the main kettle unit.
- Cover with the glass lid.
- Turn the control knob to the desired heat setting. The kettle will begin heating.
- Once boiling is complete, turn the control knob to "OFF" and unplug the appliance.
5.2. Brewing Tea & Coffee
- Add water to the nonstick inner pot.
- Heat the water to boiling point as described in section 5.1.
- Once the water is hot, add tea leaves/bags or coffee powder directly to the hot water or use a suitable infuser.
- Allow to steep for the desired time.
- Add milk and sugar if preferred, and stir.
- Serve carefully.
5.3. Cooking Instant Noodles, Soups & Stews
- Add water and your ingredients (noodles, soup mix, vegetables, etc.) to the nonstick inner pot.
- Place the inner pot into the main kettle unit and cover with the glass lid.
- Turn the control knob to the desired heat setting.
- Cook until the food is ready, stirring occasionally if needed.
- Turn the control knob to "OFF" and unplug the appliance before serving.

5.4. Steaming (Vegetables, Idli, Eggs)
- Add an appropriate amount of water to the nonstick inner pot (ensure water does not touch the bottom of the steamer basket).
- Place the stainless steel steamer basket into the inner pot.
- For vegetables: Place chopped vegetables directly into the steamer basket.
- For idli: Place the idli stand into the steamer basket, pour batter into the molds, and place the stand.
- For eggs: Place the egg tray into the steamer basket and arrange eggs on it.
- Cover with the glass lid.
- Turn the control knob to the desired heat setting.
- Steam until cooked. Cooking times will vary based on the food type and quantity.
- Carefully remove the steamed food using appropriate utensils. Turn the control knob to "OFF" and unplug the appliance.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
- Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Inner Pot, Steamer, Idli Stand, Egg Tray, and Lid: Wash these components with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are generally dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to prolong their lifespan.
- Main Kettle Unit Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. Never immerse the main kettle unit or its power base in water or any other liquid.
- Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the inner pot, especially in hard water areas. To descale, fill the pot with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Bring to a boil and let it sit for 30 minutes. Empty and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.
- Storage: Store the clean and dry appliance in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
