4. Installation
This car stereo is specifically designed for Toyota RAV4 models from 2018 to 2020. Before installation, confirm the year, dimensions, and shape of your vehicle's center console to ensure compatibility.
4.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Verify vehicle compatibility (Toyota RAV4 2018-2020).
- Ensure all package contents are present.
- Gather necessary tools (e.g., screwdrivers, trim removal tools).
4.2 Installation Steps
- Disconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery.
- Carefully remove the existing car stereo unit and trim panels from the dashboard. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for specific instructions.
- Connect the provided wiring harness to the vehicle's wiring. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Connect the GPS antenna, USB cables, camera input cable, and RCA cables to the corresponding ports on the new Oskkude stereo unit.
- Mount the new car stereo unit into the dashboard opening.
- Reinstall any removed trim panels.
- Reconnect the vehicle's battery.

5. Initial Setup
After successful installation, follow these steps for initial setup:
- Power On: Turn on your vehicle's ignition to power on the stereo.
- Language & Time: Follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred language and set the correct date and time.
- Wi-Fi Connection: Navigate to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. Connect to an available Wi-Fi network for online features and updates.
- GPS Calibration: If prompted, perform GPS calibration to ensure accurate navigation.
- Steering Wheel Control Learning: Access the Steering Wheel Control settings to program your vehicle's steering wheel buttons.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
The unit supports both wireless CarPlay and wired Android Auto, allowing seamless integration with your smartphone for navigation, calls, messaging, and music.
- For Wireless CarPlay: Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your iPhone. Pair your iPhone with the car stereo via Bluetooth. Follow the on-screen prompts to activate CarPlay.
- For Wired Android Auto: Connect your Android phone to the car stereo using a USB cable. Follow the on-screen prompts to activate Android Auto.
- Use voice commands (Siri for CarPlay, Google Assistant for Android Auto) for hands-free operation.

6.2 GPS Navigation
The unit comes with a built-in offline map of North America. Online maps are also supported when connected to Wi-Fi.
- To use offline maps, select the pre-installed navigation application.
- For online maps, connect the stereo to a Wi-Fi hotspot (e.g., from your smartphone) and use your preferred navigation app (e.g., Google Maps, Waze).

6.3 Bluetooth Connectivity
Connect your smartphone via Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and the car stereo.
- Search for available devices on your phone and select the car stereo's Bluetooth name.
- Confirm the pairing code on both devices.
- Once connected, you can make/receive calls and play music wirelessly.

6.4 Steering Wheel Control
The unit supports steering wheel control functions, allowing you to manage media and calls without taking your hands off the wheel.
- Access the 'Steering Learn' option in the settings menu.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to assign functions to your vehicle's steering wheel buttons.

6.5 AHD Backup Camera
The included AHD backup camera provides a clear rear view, automatically displaying the image when the vehicle is in reverse gear.
- Ensure the backup camera is correctly installed and connected to the 'Camera Input' on the stereo.
- When shifting into reverse, the display will automatically switch to the camera view.

6.6 Split Screen Function
The split-screen function allows you to run and view two applications simultaneously on the 10-inch display.
- To activate, open one application, then long-press the recent apps button or drag from the side (depending on UI version) to select a second application for split-screen mode.

6.7 FM/RDS Radio
The radio supports automatic or manual searching for stations and allows you to save your favorite frequencies.
- Access the 'Radio' application from the main menu.
