Setup
Battery Installation
Your Tamagotchi device comes with one CR2032 battery pre-installed. If replacement is needed, locate the screw on the back of the device. Carefully remove the screw, open the battery compartment, and replace the CR2032 battery. Ensure correct polarity before closing the compartment and re-securing the screw.
Initial Activation
Upon first use or after battery replacement, your Tamagotchi will activate. You will typically see an egg on the screen, which will soon hatch into your Obaketchi Angel character.
Operating Your Tamagotchi
The Tamagotchi device features three buttons for interaction. These buttons allow you to navigate menus and perform actions to care for your digital pet.

Basic Controls

Caring for Your Pet
- Feed: Provide meals and snacks to keep your Tamagotchi full and happy.
- Lights: Turn lights on or off to help your Tamagotchi sleep or wake up.
- Play: Engage in mini-games to keep your pet entertained and improve its happiness.
- Medicine: Administer medicine if your Tamagotchi becomes sick.
- Bathroom: Clean up after your Tamagotchi uses the bathroom to maintain hygiene.
- Health Meter: Regularly check your pet's health status, including hunger, happiness, and discipline levels.
- Praise/Discipline: Praise your Tamagotchi for good behavior or discipline it when necessary to guide its development.
- Attention: Respond to your Tamagotchi's calls for attention promptly.
Tapping Feature
A unique tapping feature is included. Tap the shell of the device to bring your Angel Tamagotchi character back from a stroll. This feature can also be used to scare off a bat that attempts to steal candy from your pet.

Character Evolution
Your Tamagotchi begins as an Obaketchi Angel (ghost character). The way you nurture and care for your character will determine its evolution. There are 5 distinct adult Tamagotchi Angel characters you can raise, in addition to secret characters that may appear based on your care.

Mini-Games
To keep your Tamagotchi Angel character happy, you can play the 'Shooting Star' mini-game. Access this game through the device's menu and follow the on-screen instructions to play.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean your Tamagotchi device, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these may damage the device's casing or screen.
Battery Replacement
When the battery runs low, the screen display may become dim or the device may stop responding. Refer to the 'Setup' section for instructions on how to replace the CR2032 battery.
Troubleshooting
- Pet is unresponsive or 'dies': Ensure the battery is fresh and correctly installed. Consistent care, including feeding, cleaning, and playing, is crucial for your pet's survival. If the device becomes unresponsive, try removing and reinserting the battery to perform a soft reset.
- Sound issues: If the sound is not working, check the device's settings to ensure it has not been muted. Some models allow muting by pressing specific buttons simultaneously.
