4. Setup

The control panel is designed for easy installation. Follow these steps:

  1. Mounting: The unit features a magnetic fastener for secure attachment. Choose a suitable, easily accessible location for mounting.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the control panel to a DC12V power source. Ensure correct polarity.
  3. System Integration: Connect the necessary communication lines to your Fujitsu air conditioning system as per the system's wiring diagram.

After physical installation and wiring, power on your air conditioning system.

5. Operating Instructions

The control panel offers intuitive operation with a clear LCD display and physical buttons. Refer to the image below for button identification.

Basic Operation:

  • START/STOP: Press to turn the air conditioning unit ON or OFF.
  • SET TEMP: Use the UP/DOWN arrows to adjust the desired temperature. The current temperature setting will be displayed on the LCD.
  • MODE: Press to cycle through available operating modes: Cooling, Heating, Dehumidification, and Air Supply (Fan Only).
  • FAN: Press to adjust the fan speed.

Advanced Functions:

  • TIMER MODE: Access timer settings for scheduled ON/OFF operations.
  • CLOCK ADJUST: Set the current time for accurate timer functions.
  • DAY: Adjust day settings for weekly programming.
  • SET BACK: Activates a setback temperature for energy saving during unoccupied periods.
  • TIMER DELETE: Clears programmed timer settings.
  • TIMER SET: Confirms and saves timer settings.
  • MAINTENANCE: Accesses maintenance-related information or functions.
  • ECONOMY: Activates energy-saving operation, automatically adjusting power based on indoor load.
  • Swing Control: When selecting swing mode, press the SWING button for 2 seconds.

Display Indicators:

  • If O-m is flashing on the display, the function of the button is not available.
  • If "CL" or "PL" is flashing on the display, the LOCK has been set.
  • If DEFROST icon is indicated on the display, the unit is stopped for DEFROST.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your control panel.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the display and buttons with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • FILTER RESET: After cleaning or replacing air filters in your air conditioning unit, press the FILTER RESET button for 2 seconds to clear the filter indicator.
  • THERMO SENSOR: Ensure the thermo sensor area is kept clean and unobstructed for accurate temperature readings.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your control panel, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Display is blank: Check the DC12V power connection. Ensure the unit is receiving power.
  • Buttons unresponsive: If O-m is flashing, the function is unavailable. If "CL" or "PL" is flashing, the panel is locked. Refer to your air conditioning system's manual for unlocking procedures if applicable.
  • Incorrect temperature readings: Ensure the thermo sensor is clean and not obstructed.
  • Error Message "EE": If the error message "EE" is displayed, please contact your service personnel. This indicates a system error requiring professional diagnosis.
  • Settings not taking effect: Any setting or operation change will take effect a few seconds after the applicable button has been pressed. Allow a brief delay.
