3. Setup and Assembly
Before first use, some assembly is required. Follow these steps to prepare your snow thrower for operation:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.
- Handle Assembly: Attach the upper handle to the lower handle using the provided knobs and bolts. Ensure the cables are not pinched.
- Chute Assembly: Secure the discharge chute to the snow thrower body. Ensure it rotates freely and locks into position.
- Battery Installation: Insert the fully charged 40V 5Ah battery into the battery compartment until it clicks into place.

4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective snow removal:
- Pre-Operation Check: Before each use, inspect the snow thrower for any loose parts, damage, or obstructions. Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Starting the Snow Thrower: Press and hold the safety button, then pull the bail switch lever towards the handle. The auger will begin to rotate.
- Clearing Snow: Push the snow thrower forward at a comfortable pace. Do not force the unit through heavy snow. For deep snow, clear in smaller passes.
- Adjusting Discharge Chute: Use the chute crank to change the direction of snow discharge. The chute can rotate 180 degrees.
- Stopping the Snow Thrower: Release the bail switch lever to stop the auger.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your snow thrower. Always disconnect the battery before performing any maintenance.
- Cleaning: After each use, remove any snow, ice, or debris from the auger housing, chute, and exterior surfaces. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
- Auger Inspection: Periodically check the auger blades for wear or damage. Replace worn blades to maintain clearing efficiency.
- Skid Shoes and Scraper Bar: Inspect the skid shoes and scraper bar for wear. Adjust or replace them as needed to prevent damage to the unit and the surface being cleared.
- Storage: Store the snow thrower in a dry, protected area. The folding handles allow for compact storage. Remove the battery during long-term storage.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your snow thrower, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Unit Does Not Start:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted.
- Check that the safety button is pressed before pulling the bail switch.
- Inspect for any obstructions in the auger or chute.
- Snow Discharge is Weak or Clogged:
- Clear any clogs from the discharge chute or auger housing (ensure battery is removed first).
- Reduce the forward speed when clearing heavy or wet snow.
- Ensure the auger blades are not excessively worn.
- Reduced Battery Runtime:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
