Setup

1. Mounting

The MT15V timer relay is designed for standard 35mm DIN rail mounting. To mount, align the clips on the back of the device with the DIN rail and press firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely fastened.

2. Wiring

Refer to the wiring diagram below for correct connections. Ensure all power is disconnected before wiring. The terminals are typically labeled as follows:

  • Terminals 1 & 2: Power input (AC 220V-240V).
  • Terminals 3, 4, 5: Output contacts for controlling the load. Terminal 4 is typically the common (COM), Terminal 3 is normally closed (NC), and Terminal 5 is normally open (NO). Connect your load to Terminal 4 (COM) and Terminal 5 (NO) for standard operation.

Operating Instructions

1. Initial Power-up and Reset

  • After connecting power, the LCD screen should illuminate.
  • Press the Reset button (usually a small recessed button) with a pointed object (e.g., a pen tip) to clear all previous settings and ensure a fresh start. The display will show 00:00.

2. Setting Current Time and Day

  • Press and hold the Clock button.
  • While holding Clock, press D+ to set the current day of the week (e.g., Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr, Sa, Su).
  • While holding Clock, press H+ to set the current hour (24-hour format).
  • While holding Clock, press M+ to set the current minute.
  • Release the Clock button to save the settings.

3. Programming ON/OFF Cycles

The timer allows for multiple ON/OFF programs. Follow these steps to set a program:

  1. Press the Timer button once. The display will show "1 ON". This is for the first ON time.
  2. Press D+ to select the day(s) for this program. You can choose individual days, weekdays, weekends, or all days.
  3. Press H+ to set the desired ON hour.
  4. Press M+ to set the desired ON minute.
  5. Press the Timer button again. The display will show "1 OFF". This is for the first OFF time.
  6. Repeat steps 2-4 to set the OFF day(s), hour, and minute.
  7. Continue pressing the Timer button to cycle through subsequent ON/OFF programs (e.g., "2 ON", "2 OFF", etc.) and set them as needed.
  8. Once all programs are set, press the Clock button to exit programming mode and return to the current time display.

4. Manual Override (ON/AUTO/OFF)

Press the Manual button to cycle through the operating modes:

  • ON: The output is continuously ON, overriding all programs.
  • OFF: The output is continuously OFF, overriding all programs.
  • AUTO: The timer operates according to the programmed ON/OFF cycles. Ensure the timer is in AUTO mode for scheduled operation.

Maintenance

The RISWEKFW MT15V timer relay requires minimal maintenance.

  • Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure.
