Control Descriptions:

  • ON/OFF Switch (Main Unit): Powers the megaphone on or off.
  • Volume Controls (Main Unit): Adjusts the overall output volume. Long press for continuous adjustment.
  • MODE Button (Main Unit): Switches between AUX, USB, and SD/MMC card input modes.
  • USB Port: For connecting USB flash drives for audio playback.
  • SD/MMC Card Slot: For inserting SD or MMC cards for audio playback.
  • AUX Input: 3.5mm jack for connecting external audio devices.
  • Handheld Microphone:

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The megaphone can be powered by the included rechargeable battery or 8 C-cell batteries (not included).

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the side of the megaphone.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. For Rechargeable Battery: Insert the provided rechargeable battery, ensuring the correct polarity.
  4. For C-cell Batteries: Insert 8 C-cell batteries, observing the polarity markings inside the compartment.
  5. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Charging the Rechargeable Battery

The included rechargeable battery takes approximately 4-5 hours for a full charge, providing 6-10 hours of use.

  1. Connect the charging cable to the charging port on the megaphone.
  2. Plug the other end of the charging cable into a suitable power source.
  3. The power indicator light will show charging status (refer to indicator light section for details).
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.

4.3 Attaching the Shoulder Strap

  1. Locate the metal loops on the megaphone body.
  2. Attach the clips of the detachable shoulder strap to these loops.
  3. Adjust the strap length for comfortable carrying.

5. Operation

5.1 Power On/Off

  1. To power on, slide the main ON/OFF switch on the megaphone body to the 'ON' position.
  2. To power off, slide the main ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.

5.2 Voice Amplification

  1. Ensure the main ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
  2. Slide the ON/OFF switch on the handheld microphone to the 'ON' position.
  3. Speak clearly into the microphone.
  4. Adjust the volume using the VOL+/- buttons on the microphone or the main volume controls on the megaphone body.

5.3 Siren Function

The siren function is designed to attract attention quickly.

  1. Ensure the main ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
  2. Press the SIREN button on the handheld microphone. The siren sound will activate.
  3. Press the SIREN button again to deactivate the siren.

5.4 Recording and Playback

The megaphone supports recording voice messages up to 240 seconds.

  1. Ensure the main ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
  2. Press the REC button on the handheld microphone to start recording. The power signal light may indicate recording status.
  3. Speak clearly into the microphone.
  4. Press the REC button again to stop recording.
  5. To play back your recording, press the PLAY button on the handheld microphone.
  6. Press PLAY again to stop playback.

5.5 Media Playback (AUX/USB/SD Card)

The megaphone supports audio playback from AUX, USB, and SD/MMC card inputs.

  1. Ensure the main ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
  2. For AUX Input: Connect your external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX port using a 3.5mm audio cable. Press the MODE button until 'AUX' mode is selected.
  3. For USB Input: Insert a USB flash drive containing audio files into the USB port. Press the MODE button until 'USB' mode is selected.
  4. For SD/MMC Card Input: Insert an SD or MMC card containing audio files into the SD/MMC card slot. Press the MODE button until 'SD' mode is selected.
  5. Use the PLAY/PAUSE and VOL+/- buttons on the main unit to control playback and volume.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the exterior of the megaphone with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals.

6.2 Storage

  • Store the megaphone in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
