1. Safety Information

2. Package Contents

3. Assembly Instructions

Assembly requires careful attention to detail. It is recommended to have two adults for certain steps. Follow the sequence below for optimal results.

3.2 Step-by-Step Assembly

1. Prepare Components: Unpack all boxes and identify each part using the labels. Lay out the components on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble Side Storage Units: Begin by attaching the side panels to the base and top panels of the storage units using the provided cam locks and dowels. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Install Drawer Slides: Attach the drawer slides to the interior of the drawer compartments. Ensure they are level and aligned for smooth drawer operation.
4. Construct Drawers: Assemble the drawer boxes and attach the rattan drawer fronts. Install the handles securely.
5. Integrate File Cabinet: Assemble the file cabinet section, ensuring the file rails are correctly positioned to accommodate A4 and Letter-size files.
6. Connect Desk Sections: Carefully align and connect the main desk sections, including the L-shaped return. Use the provided hardware to create a stable structure.
7. Install Electric Lift Mechanism: Secure the electric lifting columns to the designated areas on the desk frame. Ensure all wiring is routed correctly and not pinched.
8. Attach Desktop: Place the main desktop onto the assembled frame and secure it with the appropriate screws.
9. Install Privacy Panel: Attach the privacy panel to the front of the desk, ensuring it is flush and stable.
10. Connect Power and Control Unit: Install the built-in AC/USB charging station and connect the control panel for the electric lift.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Electric Height Adjustment

The Perledesign Electric Standing Desk features an ergonomic electric lift system allowing seamless height adjustments.

• Adjusting Height: Use the up (▲) and down (▼) arrow buttons on the control panel to raise or lower the desk to your desired height. The desk can be adjusted between 28.35 inches and 46.46 inches.
• Memory Presets: The control panel includes 4 memory presets (1, 2, 3, 4). To save a height, adjust the desk to the desired level, then press the 'S' button followed by the desired number (1-4). To recall a saved height, simply press the corresponding number button.
• Reset Function: If the desk encounters an error or does not respond, perform a reset. Typically, this involves pressing and holding the down (▼) button until the desk reaches its lowest point and then slightly rises, indicating a successful reset. Refer to the controller's specific instructions for detailed reset procedures.

4.2 AC/USB Charging Station

The integrated charging station provides convenient access to power for your electronic devices.

• AC Outlets: Two 125V/12A AC outlets are available for powering laptops, monitors, and other AC-powered devices.
• USB Ports: USB-C and USB-A ports (5V/2A) are included for charging smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered accessories.
• Power Cord: The charging station is equipped with a 4.9-foot power cord. Ensure it is plugged into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps preserve the appearance and functionality of your desk.

• Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
• Electrical Components: Keep the control panel and power outlets dry. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair electrical components yourself.
• Moving the Desk: When moving the desk, ensure the desktop is at its lowest position and all items are removed. Disconnect power before relocating.
• Drawer Slides: Periodically check drawer slides for smooth operation. If needed, a small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your desk, refer to the following common solutions:

• Desk Not Responding: Check all power connections. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the desk and the wall outlet. Perform a reset as described in Section 4.1.
• Uneven Desk Legs: If the desk appears uneven, adjust the height of the individual legs. Measure the heights of the two desk legs to see if they are set at the same level. If not, turn the rod to raise or lower the leg until it's level with the leg with the motor.
• Drawers Not Sliding Smoothly: Ensure the drawer slides are properly aligned and securely fastened. Check for any obstructions within the drawer tracks. Fully tighten screws to avoid loose drawers and ensure smooth movement.
• Noise During Operation: A slight hum from the motor is normal. If unusual or loud noises occur, ensure all assembly hardware is tightened.
