4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your FammyLoft storage shed.

Cleaning

  • Clean the exterior panels periodically with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Clear any debris, such as leaves or dirt, from the roof and around the base to ensure proper water drainage.

Inspection

  • Annually inspect all bolts and screws for tightness. Tighten as needed.
  • Check door hinges and latches for smooth operation and lubricate if necessary.
  • Examine the foundation and anchoring points to ensure the shed remains securely fastened.

Weather Protection

The shed is constructed with UV-coated galvanized panels and a rust-resistant steel frame, providing protection against sun, rain, and snow. The sloped roof design helps prevent water buildup. In areas with heavy snowfall, periodically remove excessive snow from the roof to prevent structural stress.
