Setup Instructions

1. Assembling the Stand

  1. Carefully remove the monitor from its packaging and place it face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Attach the stand neck to the monitor panel using the provided screws.
  3. Connect the stand base to the stand neck and secure it with the designated screw.
  4. Ensure all connections are firm and stable.

2. VESA Mounting (Optional)

The monitor supports VESA mounting (100x100mm) for alternative mounting solutions. Remove the stand if attached, and use appropriate VESA screws to mount the monitor to a compatible arm or wall mount.

3. Connecting to a Device

Connect the monitor to your computer or gaming console using the provided HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4 cables. Ensure the cables are securely plugged into both the monitor and your device.

  • HDMI 2.1: For high-resolution and high-refresh-rate connections, especially with modern gaming consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X).
  • DisplayPort 1.4: Recommended for PC gaming to achieve the maximum refresh rate and resolution.
  • Audio Out (3.5mm): Connect external headphones or speakers if desired.

4. Power Connection

Connect the power cable to the monitor's DC input and then plug the other end into a power outlet. Press the power button on the monitor to turn it on.

Operating Instructions

1. On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

The OSD menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. Use the joystick or buttons located on the monitor (refer to your specific model's physical layout) to navigate and select options.

Common OSD Menu Options:

  • Picture Settings: Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, Color Temperature, Gamma.
  • Color Settings: sRGB, DCI-P3, User-defined color adjustments.
  • Input Source: Manually select HDMI 1, HDMI 2, DisplayPort 1, or DisplayPort 2.
  • Audio: Volume control for built-in speakers or connected headphones.
  • Gaming Features: FreeSync/Adaptive Sync, Response Time (Overdrive), Crosshair overlay.
  • PIP/PBP: Picture-in-Picture / Picture-by-Picture mode settings.
  • System Settings: Language, OSD Timeout, Reset to Factory Defaults.

2. Adjusting Refresh Rate and Adaptive Sync

To experience the full 240Hz refresh rate and utilize AMD FreeSync Premium, ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date and configure the display settings in your operating system or graphics card control panel.

  • For Windows: Right-click on the desktop > Display settings > Advanced display settings > Display adapter properties > Monitor tab > Screen refresh rate. Select 240Hz.
  • For AMD FreeSync: Enable FreeSync in the monitor's OSD menu and in your AMD Radeon Software settings.

3. PIP/PBP Functionality

The Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) features allow you to display content from two different sources simultaneously on the monitor.

  • PIP: Displays a smaller window from a second source over the main display.
  • PBP: Divides the screen into two or more sections, each displaying a different input source.

Access these settings through the OSD menu to configure the layout and input sources.

4. Ergonomic Adjustments

The monitor stand offers various adjustments for optimal viewing comfort:

  • Height Adjustment: Adjust the monitor height within a 4.7-inch range.
  • Tilt: Tilt the screen from -15° to +15°.
  • Swivel: Swivel the monitor up to 45° left or right.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, use a monitor-specific cleaning solution applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen.
  • Cleaning the Casing: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the monitor casing. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Power Off When Not in Use: Turn off the monitor when not in use for extended periods to conserve energy and prolong its lifespan.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Do not expose the monitor to direct sunlight or excessive heat.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

No Power / No Display

  • Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and a working power outlet.
  • Verify the power adapter is functioning correctly.
  • Check if the power indicator light on the monitor is on.

No Signal / Blank Screen

  • Confirm that the video cable (HDMI or DisplayPort) is securely connected to both the monitor and your computer/console.
  • Ensure the correct input source is selected in the monitor's OSD menu.
  • Try connecting the monitor to another device or using a different cable to rule out cable or source issues.
  • Restart your computer/console.

Flickering or Distorted Image

  • Check the video cable for damage or loose connections.
  • Adjust the refresh rate in your device's display settings.
  • Disable or enable FreeSync/Adaptive Sync in the OSD menu and graphics card settings to see if it resolves the issue.
  • Update your graphics card drivers.

No Sound from Speakers

  • Increase the volume in the monitor's OSD menu and your computer's sound settings.
  • Ensure the correct audio output device is selected in your computer's sound settings.
  • If using the 3.5mm audio out, ensure external speakers/headphones are properly connected and powered.
