  1. Place a spool of thread onto the spool pin.
  2. Guide the thread through the first thread guide (usually a small metal loop).
  3. Pass the thread through the tension disc, ensuring it is seated correctly to regulate thread tension.
  4. Continue guiding the thread through any subsequent guides or take-up lever.
  5. Thread the needle from front to back using the provided threader for ease.
  6. Ensure the bobbin (bottom thread) is correctly inserted into its compartment beneath the needle plate.

Operating Instructions

Once the machine is powered and threaded, you can begin sewing:

  1. Prepare Fabric: Place the fabric you wish to sew under the presser foot.
  2. Lower Presser Foot: Use the release lever to lower the presser foot onto the fabric.
  3. Start Sewing: Locate the ON/OFF switch (often a slider or button) and press it to start the machine. The machine will begin stitching.
  4. Guide Fabric: Gently guide the fabric with both hands, ensuring it feeds smoothly under the needle. Do not pull or push the fabric forcefully, as this can bend the needle or affect stitch quality.
  5. Stop Sewing: Press the ON/OFF switch again to stop the machine.
  6. Lift Presser Foot: Use the release lever to raise the presser foot.
  7. Remove Fabric: Carefully pull the fabric away from the machine, leaving enough thread to cut.
  8. Cut Threads: Use scissors to cut both the upper and bobbin threads, leaving a short tail.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sewing machine:

  • Cleaning: After each use, gently brush away any lint or thread fragments from the needle area, bobbin case, and feed dogs. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior.
  • Needle Replacement: Replace the needle regularly, especially if it becomes bent, dull, or if you notice skipped stitches. Always use the correct type and size of needle for your fabric.
  • Storage: Store the machine in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Lubrication: Refer to the specific instructions in your included English User Manual for any lubrication requirements.

Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Machine does not start No power, incorrect battery insertion, or power switch off. Check battery polarity, ensure adapter is securely plugged in, or turn the power switch ON.
Skipped stitches Bent or dull needle, incorrect threading, or wrong needle for fabric. Replace needle, re-thread the machine carefully, or use an appropriate needle.
Thread breaks frequently Incorrect tension, poor quality thread, or burr on needle/machine parts. Adjust tension, use good quality thread, inspect for rough edges.
Fabric not feeding Presser foot not lowered, or feed dogs obstructed. Ensure presser foot is down. Clean any lint from feed dogs.
