5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the monitor unit.
2. Insert four (4) AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2. Cuff Attachment

1. Insert the air plug of the arm cuff into the air jack on the side of the monitor unit. Ensure it is firmly connected.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Preparation for Measurement

• Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, exercising, and bathing for 30 minutes before measurement.

6.3. Taking a Measurement

1. Press the 'START/STOP' button to turn on the monitor. The cuff will automatically inflate.
2. Remain still and silent during the measurement.

4. Press the 'START/STOP' button again to turn off the monitor, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.
