3. Device Layout and Controls

4. Setup
4.1 Power Supply

- AA Batteries: Insert two (2) AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. This provides portable power for on-the-go use.

4.2 Inserting a Cassette
- Gently slide the cassette compartment door open.
- Insert your cassette tape with the desired side facing up.
- Close the cassette compartment door firmly until it clicks.

Plug the included 3.5mm earphones or your preferred headphones into the AUX jack on the side of the device for private listening.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Playing Cassettes
- Ensure a cassette is inserted and the device is powered on.
- Press the PLAY button to begin playback.
- Adjust the volume using the VOL dial or VOL - / VOL + buttons.
- To change tape direction, press the DIR button.
- To fast forward or rewind, press the F.F or REWIND buttons respectively.
- Press the STOP button to end playback.
5.2 Converting Tape to MP3
The device allows you to convert audio from your cassette tapes directly to MP3 files on a USB flash drive.

- Insert a USB flash drive into the OTG (USB) port. Ensure the USB drive is formatted to FAT32.
- Insert the cassette tape you wish to convert.
- Press the PLAY button to start the cassette.
- Press the RECORD button to begin MP3 conversion. The LED indicator will flash green, indicating recording is in progress.
- Auto Mode: By default, the device will attempt to detect pauses between songs and save them as individual MP3 files. To switch to Manual Mode, press the Next/Mode button during recording.
- Manual Mode: In Manual Mode, you can manually split tracks by pressing the Next/Mode button. Each press will create a new MP3 file for the subsequent audio segment.
- To stop recording, press the STOP button. The LED will stop flashing.
- Remove the USB flash drive to access your converted MP3 files.
5.3 Auto Reverse Function
The auto-reverse function allows the cassette to automatically switch to the other side for continuous playback or recording without manual intervention.
- To activate auto-reverse, slide the AUTO REVERSE switch to the ON position.
- When the tape reaches the end of one side, it will automatically reverse direction and continue playing or recording the other side.
