1. Product Overview

The Lifelong LLEDH09 Dehumidifier is designed to efficiently remove excess moisture from indoor environments, covering areas up to 300 sq. ft. It features a 12 L/day dehumidification capacity, an intuitive digital display, and multiple operating modes. Additionally, it incorporates a carbon filter and anion generator for air purification and odor reduction, contributing to a healthier living space.

Key features include automatic shut-off when the water tank is full, a programmable timer, and safety functions like child lock and a quiet sleep mode.

2. Important Safety Instructions

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the rating label.
• Do not operate the dehumidifier with a damaged cord or plug.
• Keep the appliance away from water and other liquids.
• Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain at least 20 cm clearance around the unit.
• Always unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

The main unit features a control panel on the top, air inlets on the sides, an air outlet at the top, a removable water tank at the back, and hidden wheels for portability.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
2. Remove all packing materials, tapes, and protective films.
3. Inspect the unit for any damage during transit. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

4.2 Placement

• Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface to prevent vibration and noise.
• Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the air inlets and outlets for proper airflow.
• Do not place the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• The unit is suitable for rooms up to 300 sq. ft.

4.3 Power Connection

• Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
• Ensure the outlet meets the power requirements of the unit.

4.4 Drainage Options

The dehumidifier offers two drainage methods: manual emptying of the water tank or continuous drainage.

• Manual Drainage: The unit will collect water in its internal tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and indicate a 'Tank Full' alert. Empty the tank and reinsert it to resume operation.
• Continuous Drainage: For continuous operation without emptying the tank, attach the provided drain pipe to the continuous drainage outlet on the back of the unit. Ensure the pipe is routed downwards to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, large container) and is free from kinks or blockages.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

The dehumidifier features a user-friendly touch panel with a digital LED display. The display shows the current humidity level or timer settings.

• Power Button: Turns the unit ON/OFF.
• Mode Button: Cycles through different dehumidification modes (Normal, Continuous, Strong, Fast Drying).
• Fan Speed Button: Adjusts the fan speed.
• Timer Button: Sets the auto ON/OFF timer (0-24 hours).
• Humidity Adjustment Buttons (+/-): Sets the desired humidity level (30-80%).
• Sleep/Child Lock Button: Short press for Sleep Mode, long press for Child Lock.

5.2 Operating Modes

• Normal Mode: Operates based on the set humidity level.
• Continuous Mode: Runs continuously regardless of humidity level, ideal for very damp conditions.
• Strong Mode: Provides maximum dehumidification power.
• Fast Drying Mode: Optimized for quickly drying clothes indoors.

5.3 Setting Humidity Level

Press the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the desired humidity level between 30% and 80% relative humidity. The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.

5.4 Timer Function

Press the Timer button to set the desired operating duration from 0 to 24 hours. The unit will automatically turn ON or OFF after the set time has elapsed.

5.5 Sleep Mode

Short press the Sleep/Child Lock button to activate Sleep Mode. In this mode, the display lights dim, and the fan operates at a lower speed for quieter operation, ideal for nighttime use.

5.6 Child Lock

Long press the Sleep/Child Lock button for 3 seconds to activate the Child Lock. This prevents accidental changes to settings. To unlock, long press the button again for 3 seconds.

5.7 Air Purification (Carbon Filter & Anion)

The dehumidifier includes a carbon filter and an anion generator to help purify the air by reducing odors, dust, and light allergens, enhancing overall air quality.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

6.1 Emptying the Water Tank

• When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operating and an indicator will light up.
• Carefully pull out the water tank from the back of the unit.
• Empty the collected water.
• Slide the empty tank back into its position until it clicks securely. The unit will then resume operation.

6.2 Continuous Drainage Setup

If using continuous drainage, periodically check the drain pipe for any blockages or kinks to ensure uninterrupted water flow.

6.3 Cleaning the Air Filter

The carbon filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every two weeks or as needed) to maintain air purification efficiency.

1. Unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
2. Locate and remove the air filter (refer to the diagram in the full manual if needed).
3. Gently vacuum the filter to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, rinse with lukewarm water (do not use hot water or harsh detergents).
4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

6.4 General Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure the unit is completely dry before plugging it back in.
