4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
- Ensure your vehicle is a Mercedes Benz C Class W203, C200, C320, C350, CLK W209, S203, A209 model (2000-2005).
- Gather all necessary tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wire strippers, electrical tape).
- Disconnect the negative terminal of your car battery.
4.2 Wiring Diagram (Rear Camera)
The following diagram illustrates the connection for the included backup camera. Ensure correct polarity and secure connections.

4.3 General Installation Steps
- Carefully remove your vehicle's original head unit and trim panels. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for specific instructions.
- Connect the dedicated adapter cable from the new head unit to your vehicle's wiring harness.
- Connect the GPS antenna, radio antenna, and any other necessary cables (e.g., USB, RCA, microphone).
- Install the backup camera according to the wiring diagram (Figure 4.1) and route its cable to the head unit.
- Test all functions (power, audio, radio, GPS, camera, steering wheel controls) before fully reassembling the dashboard.
- Secure the new head unit in the dashboard opening and reattach all trim panels.
- Reconnect the vehicle's battery.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
The unit will typically power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on. To manually power off or restart, press and hold the power button on the unit or use the software controls.
5.2 Wireless Carplay & Android Auto & Mirror Link
Connect your iOS or Android smartphone wirelessly to access Carplay or Android Auto. This allows you to use phone apps for navigation, music, calls, and messages directly on the car stereo's screen. Mirror Link functionality also allows mirroring your phone's display.
- Wireless Connection: Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone and the car stereo.
- Pairing: Go to the Carplay/Android Auto/Mirror Link section on the head unit and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your device.

5.3 GPS Navigation & Wi-Fi
The built-in GPS module supports both online and offline navigation. Connect to Wi-Fi via a hotspot or tethering to access online maps, stream content, and download apps.
- GPS: Access the navigation application from the main menu. Ensure the GPS antenna is properly installed for optimal signal reception.
- Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi to connect to an available network.

5.4 Bluetooth Connectivity
Pair your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices for hands-free calling, music streaming, and file transfer.
- Pairing: Go to the Bluetooth menu on the head unit, enable Bluetooth, and search for your device. Select your device and confirm the pairing code.
- Functions: Once paired, you can make/receive calls, play audio, and access contacts.

5.5 DSP and Audio Settings
The built-in Digital Signal Processor (DSP) enhances sound quality by reducing noise and distortion. Use the 32-band equalizer to customize audio output to your preference.
- Accessing DSP: Navigate to the Audio Settings or DSP app on the unit.
- Equalizer: Adjust frequency bands to fine-tune bass, treble, and mid-range levels.
5.6 FM/RDS Radio
Tune into your favorite radio stations with clear sound quality. The RDS (Radio Data System) feature displays station information where available.
- Tuning: Select the FM/RDS Radio application. Use the scan function or manual tuning to find stations.
