3. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the flat iron and all accessories from the packaging.
- Inspect: Check the appliance for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Power Connection: Plug the flat iron into a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage is compatible (110V-240V).
- Unlock (if applicable): If the flat iron has a safety lock, slide the lock mechanism to the unlocked position to allow the plates to open.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On and Temperature Selection
- Plug the flat iron into an electrical outlet.
- Press and hold the power button (usually marked ON/OFF) for 2-3 seconds to turn on the appliance.
- The default temperature setting will illuminate. Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the available temperature settings: 280°F, 320°F, and 380°F. Select the appropriate temperature for your hair type.
- Allow approximately 20 seconds for the flat iron to reach the selected temperature.

4.2 Straightening Hair
- Ensure hair is clean, dry, and detangled.
- Section your hair into small, manageable portions. For best results with this mini iron, use very thin sections.
- Place a section of hair between the heating plates, close to the roots.
- Gently clamp the plates together and glide the flat iron slowly and steadily down the hair section, from root to tip. Avoid stopping in one place to prevent heat damage.
- Repeat on all sections until desired straightness is achieved.

4.3 Curling Hair
- Ensure hair is clean, dry, and detangled.
- Section your hair into small, manageable portions.
- Clamp a section of hair between the plates, about an inch or two from the roots.
- Rotate the flat iron 180 degrees (half turn) away from your face.
- Slowly glide the flat iron down the hair shaft, maintaining the rotation. The slower you go, the more defined the curl will be.
- Release the hair and allow the curl to cool before touching or styling.

4.4 Styling Bangs and Short Hair
The 0.7-inch plates are particularly effective for styling bangs and very short hair sections. Use light pressure and quick passes to achieve desired shape without over-styling.

4.5 Powering Off
Press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds until the indicator lights turn off. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. The flat iron also features an automatic power-off function after 60 minutes of inactivity.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior surfaces and heating plates with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
- Storage: Store the flat iron in a cool, dry place. Use the included travel heat bag for protection. Engage the safety lock to keep the plates closed during storage and travel.
- Cord Care: Do not wrap the cord tightly around the appliance. Avoid twisting or kinking the cord.
