3. Setup Guide
3.1 Charging the Speaker
- Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the "DC-IN" port on the rear of the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. The speaker is fully charged when the light changes color or turns off (refer to specific LED behavior in the quick start guide if available).
3.2 Charging the Wireless Microphones
- Each microphone has a charging port (usually USB-C). Connect the charging cable to each microphone.
- Connect the cable to a USB power source.
- The microphone's indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.
3.3 Initial Power On and Microphone Pairing
- Press and hold the Power button on the speaker to turn it on.
- Turn on each wireless microphone. They should automatically pair with the speaker. A confirmation sound or indicator light on the microphone will confirm successful pairing.
- If microphones do not pair automatically, ensure they are charged and within range. Refer to the microphone's individual instructions for manual pairing if necessary.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button on the speaker for 2-3 seconds.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again for 2-3 seconds.
4.2 Bluetooth Connection
- Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other audio device.
- Search for "Platinum Apollo Pro" (or similar name) in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
- Select the speaker to connect. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED indicator will stop flashing.
- You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
4.3 USB/TF Card Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive or TF (microSD) card into the respective port on the rear of the speaker.
- The speaker will automatically switch to USB/TF mode and begin playing audio files.
- Use the playback controls on the top panel (Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track) to manage your music.
4.4 AUX Input/Output
- AUX Input: Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, computer) to the "AUX IN" port using the provided 3.5mm audio cable. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
- AUX Output: Connect the "AUX OUT" port to another speaker or audio system to extend the sound.
4.5 Microphone Usage and Controls
- Ensure microphones are charged and paired.
- Mic Volume: Use the dedicated Mic Volume +/- buttons on each microphone or the microphone volume knob on the speaker's top panel to adjust microphone loudness.
- Echo: Press the Echo +/- buttons on the microphone to add or reduce echo effect.
- Vocal Cut: Press the Vocal Cut button on the microphone to reduce or remove vocals from a playing track, allowing you to sing along.
- Mic FX: Use the Mic FX button to cycle through various vocal effects.
4.6 RGB Light Control
- The speaker features built-in RGB light effects.
- Use the dedicated Light Effect button on the top panel to cycle through different light modes or turn the lights off.
4.7 Power Bank Function (OTG)
- Connect your mobile device or other USB-powered device to the "OTG" port on the rear of the speaker using a compatible USB cable.
- The speaker will act as a power bank, charging your connected device.
4.8 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Function
If you have two Platinum Apollo Pro speakers, you can pair them together for a true wireless stereo experience.
- Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the TWS button (if available, or a combination of buttons as per specific model instructions).
- The primary speaker will search for the secondary speaker. Once found, they will automatically connect, and you will hear a confirmation sound.
- Now, connect your audio device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth. Audio will play simultaneously through both speakers, creating a stereo soundstage.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker and microphones. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, fully charge the speaker and microphones before long periods of storage. Recharge them at least once every three months.
- Avoid Water: This device is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to liquids.
