2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions before operating the device to ensure proper function and prevent injury.

  • Anti-Pinch Feature: The door is equipped with a pressure sensor. If an obstruction is detected during closing, the door will reverse and attempt to close again. After four unsuccessful attempts, it will remain open to prevent harm to animals.

4. Setup and Installation

    • Wired Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the door unit and plug it into a suitable outdoor power outlet. The power cable is approximately 6.6 feet long.

5.1. Control Panel Buttons

  • Left Button (◀): Used to navigate menus or decrease values. Press for 3 seconds to select a menu item.
  • Right Button (▶): Used to navigate menus or increase values. Press for 3 seconds to edit or save settings.
  • Play Button (►): Manually open or close the door. Press for 3 seconds to activate.

  1. Timer Mode:

    Allows you to set specific times for the door to open and close. This ensures your poultry are secured at night and released in the morning at consistent times.

    • Navigate to 'Timer Mode' on the LCD screen using the left/right buttons.
    • Press and hold the right button (▶) for 3 seconds to enter settings.
    • Set the desired opening time (e.g., 06:00 AM) and closing time (e.g., 08:00 PM).
    • Confirm and save your settings.
  2. Light Sensing Mode:

    The door automatically opens at dawn and closes at dusk based on ambient light levels. This mode adapts to seasonal changes in daylight.

    • Navigate to 'Light Sensing Mode' on the LCD screen.
    • Press and hold the right button (▶) for 3 seconds to activate or adjust sensitivity if available.
    • The door will now operate based on detected light levels.
  3. Manual Mode:

    Provides immediate control over the door's operation, allowing you to open or close it on demand.

    • Press and hold the 'Play' button (►) for 3 seconds. The door will either open if closed, or close if open.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Replacement

If using battery power, the LCD screen will display the battery level. When the battery is low, replace the 4 AA batteries. The pull-cord design allows for easy access to the battery compartment.

6.2. Cleaning
