Operating Instructions
Using the Futon (Lower Bunk)
The lower futon can be easily converted between a sofa and a full-sized bed.
- To Convert from Sofa to Bed: Gently lift the front edge of the futon seat until the backrest releases from its upright position. Lower the backrest until it lies flat, forming a bed surface. Ensure the mechanism locks into place.
- To Convert from Bed to Sofa: Lift the futon frame from the center of the bed position. The backrest will begin to rise. Continue lifting until the backrest locks into the upright sofa position. Ensure the mechanism is fully engaged.
