2. Setup
The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included) for operation. No programming or pairing is necessary; simply install the batteries, and the remote will be ready for use.
2.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
- Insert two (2) new 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
- Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

3. Operating Instructions
Point the remote control directly at your TCL air conditioner unit. The maximum effective range is approximately 10 feet (3 meters).
