Setup

1. SIM Card and Micro SD Card Installation

The camera comes with a pre-installed 4G LTE SIM card. A Micro SD card (not included) is required for local storage of recordings. The camera supports up to 32GB Micro SD cards.

  1. Locate the SIM/SD card slot cover on the camera body.
  2. Open the cover carefully. The SIM card is already in place.
  3. Insert a Micro SD card into the designated slot with the contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  4. Close the cover securely to ensure weatherproofing.

2. Powering On

The camera is powered by a built-in lithium battery, continuously charged by the integrated solar panel. Ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for optimal charging.

  • Before initial use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable for approximately 8 hours.
  • Press and hold the power button (if available, otherwise it powers on automatically when charged).

3. App Installation and Pairing

  1. Search for the "Ucon" app (or specified app name) in your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS).
  2. Install the application.
  3. Open the app and create an account or log in.
  4. Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or entering its device ID.
  5. Ensure your smartphone has a stable internet connection during the pairing process.

Operating Instructions

1. Live View and Playback

Access real-time video and review recorded footage directly from your smartphone app.

  • Open the app and select your camera from the device list.
  • Tap on the "Live View" option to stream real-time video.
  • Use the on-screen controls to pan and tilt the camera for a 360° view.
  • To view recorded footage, navigate to the "Playback" section within the app.

2. Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera utilizes a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor to detect motion and send instant alerts.

  • In the app settings, enable motion detection and adjust sensitivity levels as needed.
  • When motion is detected, the camera will begin recording and send a notification to your paired smartphone.
  • The camera also features human tracking, automatically rotating to follow detected human movement.
  • Customize alert schedules to receive notifications only during specific time periods.

3. Night Vision Modes

The TC32B offers two night vision options:

  • Infrared Night Vision: Uses invisible IR LEDs for discreet monitoring in low-light conditions, producing black and white images.
  • Full-Color Night Vision: Utilizes built-in illumination (visible light) to capture color images at night. Note that the light will turn on in this mode.

4. Two-Way Communication

The camera supports two-way audio, allowing you to listen and speak through the device.

Mounting

The VOOPEAK TC32B camera offers flexible mounting options to suit various outdoor environments.

  • Tree Strap Mounting: Use the provided strap to secure the camera to a tree or pole. Ensure the camera is stable and the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum sunlight.
  • Screw Mounting: For a more permanent installation, use the included screws and anchors to mount the camera to a wall or other flat surface.

When mounting, consider the camera's 120-degree viewing angle and the desired monitoring area. Position the solar panel to avoid obstructions and maximize sun exposure throughout the day.

Maintenance

1. Battery Charging

The camera's internal 7800mAh lithium battery is primarily charged by the integrated solar panel. For optimal performance:

  • Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from debris (leaves, dirt, snow) to maximize sunlight absorption.
  • Position the camera in an area that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day.
  • If the battery level drops significantly due to prolonged cloudy weather or heavy usage, you can manually charge the camera using the provided USB cable and a standard 5V USB power adapter (not included).

2. Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the camera lens and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Ensure the camera's seals and covers are free from dirt and properly closed to maintain its IP66 weatherproof rating.

3. Storage

If storing the camera for an extended period:

  • Charge the battery to approximately 50-70% before storage.
