2. Setup and Charging

  1. Solar Charging: Place the radio with the solar panel (located on top) facing direct sunlight. The solar panel will convert sunlight into electrical energy to charge the internal battery.

3.1 Basic Operation

  1. Power On/Off and Volume (11): Rotate the knob labeled "POWER ON/OFF AND VOLUME" clockwise to turn on the radio and increase volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and turn off.
  2. Band Selection (12): Use the "BAND SWITCH" to select between FM, AM, SW1, SW2, SW3, SW4, SW5, and SW6 bands.
  3. Tuning (10): Rotate the "TUNING" knob to scan for radio stations within the selected band. Extend the telescopic antenna for better FM and SW reception.

3.2 Flashlight Operation

The radio includes a built-in LED flashlight for emergency illumination.

  • Activate Flashlight (1): Use the "LAMP OR TORCH SWITCH" to turn the LED light on or off.

3.3 Multiple Functions Overview

  • Earphone Jack (3): Connect standard 3.5mm earphones for private listening.
  • USB Jack (4) & TF Jack (5): Insert a USB drive or TF (MicroSD) card to play MP3 audio files.
  • Mode Button (9): Press the "MODE" button to switch between radio mode and MP3 player mode (USB/TF card).
