1. Important Safety Information

• Do not expose the earbuds or charging case to extreme temperatures (above 60°C or below -10°C).
• Avoid dropping, hitting, or disassembling the device.
• Keep away from water and moisture; although the earbuds are IP5 water-resistant, the charging case is not.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals to clean the device.
• Use only the provided charging cable or a certified USB-C cable for charging.
• Prolonged exposure to high volume levels may cause hearing damage. Adjust volume to a moderate level.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case

For first-time use, fully charge the earbuds and charging case.

1. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure the charging contacts align.
2. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and to a power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
3. The LED digital display on the case will show the battery percentage. The earbuds' LED indicators will light up during charging and turn off when fully charged.
4. A full charge for the case takes approximately 1 hour. Earbuds charge automatically when placed in the case.

Note: A 10-minute charge provides approximately 1 hour of playback.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode when removed from the charging case.

1. Open the charging case and remove both earbuds. They will automatically power on and attempt to pair with each other.
2. On your device (smartphone, PC, TV), enable Bluetooth.
3. Search for Bluetooth devices and select "JBES A9" from the list.
4. Once connected, the earbuds' LED indicators will turn off or flash slowly. A voice prompt will confirm the connection.

Note: The earbuds support mono mode. You can use either earbud independently. To switch to stereo, simply take the second earbud out of the case.

4.3 Wearing the Earbuds

Choose the ear tips that provide the best seal and comfort for optimal sound quality and noise cancellation.

1. Gently insert the earbud into your ear canal.
2. Rotate the earbud slightly until it fits snugly and comfortably.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain optimal performance and hygiene.

• Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the earbuds and charging case.
• For ear tips, remove them and clean with a mild soap solution, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.
• Gently clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case with a dry cotton swab.

6.2 Storage

When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Avoid storing in areas with extreme temperatures or high humidity.

6.3 Water Resistance (IP5)

The JBES A9 earbuds are rated IP5 for water resistance, meaning they are protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes them suitable for sports and use in light rain.

Important:

• The charging case is not water-resistant. Do not expose it to liquids.
• Do not intentionally submerge the earbuds in water.
• If the earbuds get wet, wipe them dry thoroughly before placing them back in the charging case to prevent damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, try the following solutions:

• No Sound/Poor Sound Quality:
  • Ensure earbuds are charged.
  • Check Bluetooth connection on your device.
  • Increase volume on both earbuds and your device.
  • Clean ear tips and earbud mesh for any debris.
  • Try re-pairing the earbuds with your device.
• Earbuds Not Pairing with Each Other:
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open and remove them again.
  • Ensure both earbuds have sufficient battery.
• Earbuds Not Charging:
  • Ensure the charging case is charged.
  • Clean the charging contacts on both earbuds and the case.
  • Try a different USB-C cable and power adapter.
• Touch Controls Not Responding:
  • Ensure your fingers are clean and dry.
  • Restart the earbuds by placing them in the case and taking them out again.
