3. Setup and Operation
Follow these steps to set up and operate your TENS 1.0 device for pain relief:
- Connect Lead Wires and Pads: Insert the lead wires into the TENS unit. Attach the self-adhesive electrode pads to the other end of the lead wires.
- Apply Electrode Pads: Place the electrode pads directly onto the skin in the area where you experience pain or discomfort. Ensure the skin is clean and dry for optimal adhesion.
- Power On: Long press the orange power button on the device to turn it on. The display will illuminate.
- Select Program Mode: Use the 'M+' and 'M-' buttons to cycle through the 25 available treatment programs. The selected program number will be displayed on the screen.
- Set Treatment Time: Press the 'Time' button to adjust the duration of your treatment session.
- Adjust Intensity: Use the 'P1+' and 'P1-' buttons to increase or decrease the intensity for Channel 1. Similarly, use 'P2+' and 'P2-' for Channel 2. Adjust the intensity to a comfortable yet effective level.
- Begin Treatment: Once the program, time, and intensity are set, the device will begin delivering electrical impulses.
- Power Off: After your session, long press the power button to turn off the device. Carefully remove the electrode pads from your skin.
