4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for safe and proper installation of your recessed downlight. Professional installation is recommended.
Required Tools (Not Included):
- Drill with appropriate hole saw (matching borehole size: 68mm-80mm for 3W model)
- Wire strippers
- Screwdriver
- Electrical tape or wire nuts
- Safety glasses and gloves
Installation Steps:
- Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the installation area and turn off the power. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
- Prepare Ceiling Opening: Using a hole saw, cut a circular opening in the ceiling according to the specified borehole size (68mm-80mm for the 3W model). Ensure there are no obstructions (joists, pipes, wires) in the ceiling cavity.
- Connect Wiring: Carefully pull the electrical wires from the ceiling opening. Connect the fixture's wires to the main power supply wires (Live to Live, Neutral to Neutral) using appropriate connectors (e.g., wire nuts). Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.

5. Operating Instructions
