1. Overview

4. Setup

4.1 Hard Drive Installation (HDD Not Included)

The NVR requires a 3.5-inch SATA hard drive for video storage. Ensure the NVR is powered off before installation.

  1. Unscrew and remove the top cover of the NVR.
  2. Connect the SATA data cable and power cable from the NVR to the corresponding ports on the hard drive.
  3. Align the hard drive with the mounting holes at the bottom of the NVR chassis and secure it with the provided screws.
  4. Replace the top cover and secure it with screws.

Note: After installation, you may need to format the hard drive through the NVR's system settings for it to be recognized and used for recording.

4.2 Initial Connections

  1. Connect a Monitor: Use an HDMI or VGA cable to connect the NVR to a monitor or TV.
  2. Connect a Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into a USB port on the NVR.
  3. Connect to Network: Connect an Ethernet cable from the NVR's LAN port to your router or network switch.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the NVR's power input and then into a power outlet. The NVR will power on automatically.

5. Operation
