3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Optimal Placement

- Too Close: If the extender is too close to the router, it may not effectively extend the signal to dead zones.
- Too Far: If the extender is too far from the router, it may not receive a strong enough signal to amplify.
- Recommended: Place the WiFi extender approximately 10-40 feet (3-12 meters) away from your main router, in a location where it can receive a strong signal from the router and also reach the desired dead zones.

3.2 WPS Setup (Recommended for quick setup)
- Plug the AOOEPU WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet near your main router.
- Wait for the Power LED on the extender to turn solid.
- Press the WPS button on your main router.
- Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on the AOOEPU WiFi Extender.
- The Signal LED on the extender should turn solid, indicating a successful connection.
- You can now unplug the extender and move it to your desired optimal location (refer to Section 3.1).

3.3 Manual Setup (Via Web Browser)
- Plug the AOOEPU WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet.
- On your computer or mobile device, connect to the extender's default WiFi network (e.g., "WiFi-Repeater" or similar, usually found on a label on the device). No password is required initially.
- Open a web browser and enter the default IP address or domain name (e.g., http://192.168.10.1 or http://repeater.net). Refer to the device label for the exact address.
- Log in using the default username and password (usually "admin" for both, refer to the device label).
- Follow the on-screen wizard to select your desired operating mode (Repeater, AP, or Router) and configure the network settings.
