Setup

Follow these steps to set up your MALFT Self-Cleaning Litter Box:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. You should have the Main Unit, Cover, Bottom Bin, Aromatherapy Box, Power Adapter, and Garbage Bag Roll.
  2. Assemble the Unit: Place the Main Unit onto the base. Align the Cover with the Main Unit and secure it in place.
  3. Install Aromatherapy Box: Locate the slot on the back of the unit. Insert the solid aromatherapy box into this slot.
  4. Prepare Waste Bin: Line the Bottom Bin with one of the provided garbage bags. Ensure the bag is properly secured around the edges of the bin.
  5. Insert Waste Bin: Slide the prepared waste bin into the designated compartment at the bottom front of the litter box.
  6. Place Litter Mat: Position the cat litter mat directly in front of the litter box entrance.
  7. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the power port on the back of the litter box, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The Wi-Fi indicator light will illuminate.
  8. Add Litter: Pour suitable cat litter into the main compartment. The litter box is compatible with Tofu, Mineral, Mixed, and Bentonite litters.

The MALFT Self-Cleaning Litter Box offers smart control and various cleaning modes:

Control your litter box remotely using the MALFT smart app, which supports auto-cleaning, deodorizing, and waste emptying functions. Please ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz.

Smart App Connection:

  1. Search and download the "Tuya Smart" app from your mobile app store.
  2. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the litter box for 3 seconds until the green light blinks.
  3. Open the Tuya Smart app, click "Add Device," and follow the prompts to connect.
  4. Once connected, you can operate the litter box via the app.

Cleaning Modes:

The litter box supports three cleaning modes:

Choose from Manual, Scheduled, or Automatic cleaning modes to suit your preferences and your cat's habits.

  • Manual Mode: Initiate cleaning cycles manually via the app or by pressing the clean button on the unit.
  • Scheduled Cleaning Mode: Set specific times for cleaning cycles through the app.
  • Auto Cleaning Mode: The litter box automatically detects when your cat has used it and initiates a cleaning cycle after a 90-second delay.

The unit performs a 360° rotation to effectively separate waste from clean litter. Non-stick surfaces prevent clumping and ensure smooth operation.

Silent Night Mode:

The litter box operates below 44dB, ensuring a quiet environment. It can be set to a "Sleep Mode" which turns off daily from 23:00 to 9:00 the next day, and turns itself on after 9:00, providing undisturbed rest for both you and your cats.

  • Empty Waste Bin: The 10L waste bin can hold waste for up to 10 days for a single cat. Empty it regularly as needed, or when the app notifies you.
  • Clean Main Components: The rotary cylinder and screen are designed for easy disassembly and cleaning. Remove them and wash with water and mild detergent. Ensure they are completely dry before reassembling.
  • Replace Aromatherapy Box: Replace the solid aromatherapy box periodically to maintain odor control.
  • Wipe Down Exterior: Use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the litter box. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
