3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to connect your ANXQQ KVM Switch:

  1. Power Off Devices: Ensure all computers and the monitor are powered off before making any connections.
  2. Connect Monitor: Connect your monitor to the KVM Switch's MONITOR OUTPUT port using an HDMI cable.
  3. Connect Computers (HDMI): For each computer (up to 4), connect its HDMI output to an HD INPUT port (HD 1, HD 2, HD 3, HD 4) on the KVM Switch.
  4. Connect Computers (USB): For each computer, connect a USB A-B cable from its USB port to the corresponding USB INPUT port (USB 1, USB 2, USB 3, USB 4) on the KVM Switch. These ports are labeled PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4.
  5. Connect Keyboard and Mouse: Connect your keyboard and mouse to the dedicated USB ports on the KVM Switch labeled with keyboard and mouse icons.
  6. Connect Additional USB Devices: If you have other USB 2.0 peripherals (e.g., printer, USB drive), connect them to the two additional USB 2.0 ports on the KVM Switch.
  7. Connect Power Adapter: Plug the DC/12V power adapter into the KVM Switch's DC/12V port and then into a power outlet.
  8. Power On: Turn on the KVM Switch using the ON/OFF switch, then power on your monitor and computers.

Note: It is recommended to use standard wired keyboards and mice. Wireless, luminous, or macro-function keyboards/mice may not function optimally or may require a USB hub for stable operation. Game consoles typically do not work with the keyboard and mouse connected to this product.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Switching Between Computers

The ANXQQ KVM Switch offers three methods for switching between connected computers:

  • Front Panel Buttons: Press the PC1, PC2, PC3, or PC4 buttons on the front panel of the KVM Switch to select the desired computer.
  • IR Remote Control: Use the included IR remote control to switch between computers. Point the remote at the IR receiver on the KVM Switch. (Requires 2 AAA batteries, not included).
  • Keyboard Hotkeys: Utilize specific keyboard commands for quick switching.

4.2 Display Modes

The KVM Switch supports 7 display modes, accessible via the MODE button on the front panel or the IR remote. In KVM Mode, only Single Screen Mode is available. In Split-Screen Mode, all modes are available.

  • Single Screen Mode: Displays one computer's output across the entire monitor.
  • Four-Screen Mode: Divides the monitor into four equal sections, displaying output from four computers simultaneously.
  • One Large and Three Small Mode: One computer's output is displayed prominently, with three other computers' outputs in smaller windows.
  • Picture-in-Picture (PIP) Mode: Displays one computer's output as the main screen, with another computer's output in a smaller overlay window.
  • Dual-Screen Mode (Left and Right): Divides the monitor vertically into two sections.
  • Dual-Screen Mode (Top and Bottom): Divides the monitor horizontally into two sections.
  • Aspect Ratio Mode: Adjusts the display to its original aspect ratio in dual-screen mode.

4.3 Hotkey Commands

Hotkey commands allow for quick and efficient control. Please ensure to follow the pressing order: press "***" (Scroll Lock or Right Ctrl), then press other keys (e.g., F1), then release other keys, and finally release "***".

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the KVM Switch. Avoid liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the device is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block any ventilation openings.
  • Cable Management: Keep cables organized and free from kinks or excessive bending to prevent damage.
  • Power Supply: Use only the provided DC/12V power adapter.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Display/Flickering Screen:
    • Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected and are high-speed 4K compatible.
    • Verify that the monitor is set to the correct input source.
    • Check if the KVM Switch is powered on and the correct computer input is selected.
    • Try reducing the display resolution or refresh rate on the connected computer if flickering persists.
    • Ensure the power adapter is correctly connected and providing sufficient power.
  • Keyboard/Mouse Not Responding:
    • Ensure the USB A-B cables are securely connected from each computer to the KVM Switch.
    • Verify that the keyboard and mouse are connected to the dedicated USB ports on the KVM Switch.
    • If using wireless peripherals, try connecting them via a small USB hub plugged into the KVM Switch, or use wired peripherals.
    • Restart the KVM Switch and the connected computers.
  • IR Remote Not Working:
    • Ensure AAA batteries are correctly inserted and not depleted.
    • Point the remote directly at the IR receiver on the KVM Switch.
    • Remove any obstructions between the remote and the KVM Switch.
  • No Audio:
    • Check audio settings on the selected computer and monitor.
    • Ensure HDMI cables support audio transmission.
