1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this manual for future reference.

3. Setup

3.1 Unboxing and Initial Cleaning

  • Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  • Wash the water tank, portafilter, and drip tray with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
  • Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.

3.2 Filling the Water Tank

  • Remove the water tank from the back of the machine.
  • Fill the tank with clean, cold water up to the 'MAX' line. Ensure the silicone cap at the bottom of the tank is removed for water flow.
  • Place the water tank back securely onto the machine.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Preheating

  • Plug in the machine and press the Power button. The indicator lights will flash as the machine preheats.
  • Once the lights become solid, the machine is ready for use. This typically takes about 30 seconds.
  • Place your espresso cups on the cup warmer tray on top of the machine to preheat them.

4.2 Making Espresso

  1. Select the desired filter (single or double shot) and place it into the portafilter.
  2. Add ground coffee to the filter. Use the provided scoop and tamper to level and compact the coffee grounds.
  3. Insert the portafilter into the group head of the machine. Align it with the 'unlock' symbol and turn it to the 'lock' symbol until it is secure.
  4. Place your preheated cup(s) under the portafilter spouts.
  5. Press the Single Cup or Double Cup button to start brewing. The machine will automatically stop when the desired volume is reached.
  6. Monitor the pressure gauge to ensure optimal extraction (within the green zone).

4.3 Using the Steam Frother

  1. Fill a frothing pitcher with cold milk (ensure it's suitable for frothing).
  2. Press the Steam button. The light will flash while heating and become solid when ready.
  3. Submerge the steam wand into the milk. Turn the control knob to the 'steam' position to start frothing.
  4. Move the pitcher up and down to create desired foam texture.
  5. Once finished, turn the control knob to 'off' and press the Steam button again to turn off steam.
  6. Immediately clean the steam wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue buildup.

4.4 Making Cold Brew Coffee

  1. Ensure the machine is powered off.
  2. Turn the control knob to the 'coffee' mode.
  3. Press the desired cup button (single or double). The machine will start extracting cold brew automatically.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 Drip Tray and Water Tank

  • The drip tray and water tank are detachable for easy cleaning.
  • Empty and rinse the drip tray regularly.
  • Clean the water tank periodically with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.

5.2 Self-Cleaning Mode

  • The machine features a self-cleaning mode to remove coffee oil and bacteria from internal pipes.
