1. Product Overview

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the camera housing latch on the side.

3.2 SD Card Installation

  1. With the camera housing open, locate the SD card slot.
  2. Insert a standard SD card (up to 32GB, Class 4 or higher recommended) into the slot with the metal contacts facing down. Push until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the SD card in again until it clicks, then release to eject.
  4. It is recommended to format the SD card within the camera before first use and after transferring files. Refer to the 'Operation' section for formatting instructions.

3.3 Mounting the Camera

  1. Select a suitable tree or post for mounting. The camera should be positioned at a height appropriate for the target wildlife, typically 3-6 feet off the ground.
  2. Thread the provided mounting strap through the slots on the back of the camera.
  3. Securely fasten the strap around the tree or post. Ensure the camera is stable and pointed in the desired direction.
  4. Adjust the camera angle as needed. Avoid aiming directly into the sun to prevent overexposure.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on, slide the power switch from OFF to ON. The camera will enter setup mode.

  • Recovery Rate: The delay before the camera can trigger again after capturing an image or video (1 second for this model).
  • Night Range: The effective distance for night vision capture (up to 100 feet).
  • PIR Sensitivity: Adjust the Passive Infrared sensor sensitivity to reduce false triggers from environmental factors like moving branches.
  • Date/Time Stamp: Ensure the correct date and time are set for accurate record-keeping.
  • Format SD Card: Access this option in the menu to erase all data on the SD card and prepare it for use. This is crucial for optimal performance.

4.3 Retrieving Images and Videos

  1. Power off the camera.
  2. Remove the SD card from its slot.
