Setup
Inserting a Bit:
- Select the appropriate bit for your application.
- Insert the bit firmly into the 1/4" hex magnetic bit holder at the end of the torque screwdriver. The magnetic holder will secure the bit.
- For additional reach or leverage, attach the 1/4" magnetic screwdriver extension bar or the 1/4" slide bar as needed.

Operating Instructions
Setting the Torque Value:
- Unlock: Pull down the adjusting wheel located near the base of the screwdriver handle.
- Adjust: Rotate the adjusting wheel to align the desired torque value. The main scale (red line) indicates major values, and the minor scale (triangular pointer) indicates precise increments. A full rotation of the wheel represents 10 in-lbs.
- Lock: Once the desired torque is set, push the adjusting wheel back up to lock it in place.

Applying Torque:
- Hold the torque screwdriver firmly.
- Apply steady, even pressure while rotating the screwdriver.
- Continue turning until you hear and feel a distinct "click" from the internal clutch mechanism. This indicates that the preset torque value has been reached, and the screwdriver will prevent further tightening.
- Stop applying force immediately after the click to avoid overtightening.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the screwdriver and bits with a clean, dry cloth after each use. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the torque screwdriver and its bits in the provided case in a dry, clean environment to prevent corrosion and damage.
- Calibration: For optimal accuracy, periodic calibration by a qualified professional is recommended, especially after heavy use or if accuracy is suspected to be compromised.
- Lubrication: The internal mechanism is factory-lubricated. Do not attempt to lubricate internal components unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer.
Troubleshooting
Issue: No audible click when torque is reached.
Possible Causes:
- The torque setting is too low for the application, or the fastener is already tight.
- The adjusting wheel is not fully locked after setting the torque.
- The tool may require calibration or service.
Solutions:
- Ensure the torque setting is appropriate for the fastener.
- Verify the adjusting wheel is pushed up and locked after setting the torque.
- If the issue persists, contact customer support for assistance.
