4. Setup and Installation
Important: Before installation, ensure your mobile phone uses frequency bands 7 or 20. You can typically check this in your phone's network settings or by contacting your service provider.
The installation process involves placing the external antenna, the internal antenna, and connecting them to the main amplifier unit. Proper placement is crucial for optimal performance.
4.1. Pre-Installation Check: Signal Strength
The system works best if you have at least 1 or 2 bars of signal outside your home or office (outdoor signal greater than -110 dBm). Use your mobile phone to find the area with the strongest outdoor signal.

Figure 4.1: Signal Advisor App. This image shows a mobile application interface designed to assist with installation by helping users find cell towers, watch installation videos, show signal strength, and get online support.
4.2. External Antenna Placement
- Location: Find a test spot on your roof or an elevated outdoor area. The higher the placement, the better the signal reception.
- Orientation: Point the external Yagi antenna horizontally towards the nearest cell tower. You can use online resources or the Signal Advisor APP (if available) to locate your nearest tower.
- Mounting: Securely mount the external antenna using the provided screw kit. Ensure it is stable and protected from weather elements.
4.3. Internal Antenna Placement
- Location: Mount the internal panel antenna on a wall inside your home or office, preferably in the area where you need signal improvement the most.
- Orientation: The internal antenna should face the area where you typically use your mobile phone.
- Separation: Ensure there is sufficient physical separation (at least 10-15 meters or 30-50 feet) between the external and internal antennas to prevent oscillation. Walls and ceilings can help with this separation.
4.4. Connecting the System
- Connect External Antenna: Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the external antenna and the other end to the "OUTDOOR" port on the main amplifier unit.
- Connect Internal Antenna: Connect the internal panel antenna to the "INDOOR" port on the main amplifier unit using the provided cable.
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the main amplifier unit and then plug it into a power outlet.

Figure 4.2: System Components. This image shows the main ANNTLENT signal booster unit, the external Yagi antenna, and the internal panel antenna, illustrating how they form the complete system.
After connecting, the LED indicator on the amplifier will reflect its working status. If the LED is green, the system is operating correctly. Refer to the Troubleshooting section if the LED indicates an error.
5. Operating Instructions
Once installed and powered on, the ANNTLENT Mobile Phone Signal Amplifier operates automatically. The Automatic Gain Control (AGC) function will continuously monitor the input signal level and adjust the amplification to achieve optimal performance without causing interference.
- Automatic Operation: The booster will automatically amplify the available 4G LTE signals (Bands 7/20) and broadcast them within the coverage area.
- Signal Improvement: You should observe an improvement in your mobile phone's signal strength (more bars) and data speeds within the coverage area.
- Multi-User Support: Multiple mobile devices can benefit from the improved signal simultaneously.
- Inactivity Mode: The device will enter an inactivity mode to save power when no active signal amplification is required, and will automatically reactivate when needed.

Figure 5.1: Multiple Devices and Users. This image depicts several individuals using their mobile phones and a laptop, illustrating how the signal booster supports multiple devices and users simultaneously, leading to fewer dropped calls, better voice quality, and faster data speeds.
6. Maintenance
The ANNTLENT Mobile Phone Signal Amplifier is designed for low maintenance. Follow these guidelines to ensure its longevity and optimal performance:
- Keep Clean: Periodically wipe the main unit and internal antenna with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- External Antenna Check: Annually inspect the external antenna for any physical damage, loose connections, or obstructions (e.g., tree branches, debris). Ensure it remains securely mounted and correctly oriented.
- Cable Integrity: Check all coaxial cables for signs of wear, kinks, or damage. Ensure connections are tight.
- Power Supply: Ensure the power adapter is not damaged and is connected to a stable power source.
- Ventilation: Ensure the main amplifier unit has adequate ventilation and is not covered, to prevent overheating.
7. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your signal amplifier, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
7.1. No Signal Improvement
- Check Outdoor Signal: Ensure there is at least a weak signal (1-2 bars) outside where the external antenna is placed. The booster cannot create a signal where none exists.
- Antenna Orientation: Verify the external antenna is pointed directly towards the nearest cell tower. Adjust its direction slightly to find the optimal signal.
- Antenna Separation: Ensure sufficient distance between the external and internal antennas (at least 10-15 meters or 30-50 feet). Insufficient separation can cause oscillation, which reduces performance.
- Cable Connections: Check all cable connections to ensure they are secure and correctly attached to the "OUTDOOR" and "INDOOR" ports.
- Power: Confirm the amplifier is powered on and the LED indicator is lit.
7.2. LED Indicator Shows Error (e.g., Red Light)
- Oscillation: A red or flashing LED often indicates oscillation (feedback loop) between the antennas. Increase the separation distance between the external and internal antennas. You may need to move them further apart or place a physical barrier (like a wall) between them.
- Weak Outdoor Signal: If the outdoor signal is too weak, the booster may struggle to amplify it effectively. Try repositioning the external antenna to a higher or clearer location.
- Cable Damage: Inspect cables for any damage. Damaged cables can lead to signal loss or errors.
7.3. Dropped Calls or Slow Data Speeds
- Antenna Placement: Re-evaluate the placement of both antennas. Ensure the internal antenna covers the desired area effectively.
- Interference: Check for other electronic devices that might be causing interference near the internal antenna.
- Network Congestion: In rare cases, network congestion from your service provider might be the cause, which the booster cannot resolve.
