Setup

1. Power Connection

Connect the provided AC power cord to the "DC IN" jack on the back of the unit and then plug it into a standard AC110-120V 50Hz wall outlet. The unit will power on and the display will light up.

2. Battery Backup (Optional)

For continuous operation during power outages, install 3 x AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity (+/-). Battery backup will maintain time and alarm settings, and the display will auto-dim after 5 seconds if no operation occurs during a power cut.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Time

  1. Press and hold the CLOCK SET button until the hour digits begin to flash.
  2. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the hour. Pay attention to the AM/PM indicator.
  3. Press the CLOCK SET button again to confirm the hour, and the minute digits will flash.
  4. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the minutes.
  5. Press the CLOCK SET button one more time to confirm the minutes and exit time setting mode.

2. Alarm Functions

The clock radio features dual alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2) that can be set independently.

Setting Alarm 1 or Alarm 2:

  1. Press and hold the ALARM 1 SET or ALARM 2 SET button until the alarm hour digits flash.
  2. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
  3. Press the respective ALARM SET button again to confirm the hour, and the minute digits will flash.
  4. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the alarm minutes.
  5. Press the respective ALARM SET button again to select the alarm mode:
    • MON-SUN: Alarm sounds every day.
    • MON-FRI: Alarm sounds on weekdays only.
    • SAT-SUN: Alarm sounds on weekends only.
  6. Press the respective ALARM SET button again to select the alarm sound:
    • BEEP: Standard alarm sound.
    • MUSIC: Plays a built-in melody.
    • RADIO: Wakes you up to the last tuned radio station.
  7. Press the respective ALARM SET button one more time to confirm settings and exit.

Snooze Function:

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button to temporarily silence the alarm for 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after 9 minutes. To cancel the snooze and turn off the alarm completely, press the POWER button.

3. Radio Operation (AM/FM)

The clock radio supports both AM and FM radio bands.

Selecting Band and Tuning:

  1. Press the AM/FM button to switch between AM and FM bands.
  2. To manually tune, press the + or - buttons to adjust the frequency.
  3. To auto-scan for stations, press and hold the + or - buttons. The radio will scan and stop at the next strong station.

Storing and Recalling Presets:

The unit can store up to 6 AM and 6 FM preset stations.

  1. Tune to the desired station.
  2. Press and hold one of the P1-P6 buttons for 1 second until the display flashes, indicating the station is saved.
  3. To recall a preset station, simply press the corresponding P1-P6 button.

Volume Control:

Use the VOL + or VOL - buttons to adjust the radio volume.

4. Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows you to fall asleep to the radio, which will automatically turn off after a set duration (10-90 minutes).

  1. While the radio is playing, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through the sleep timer options (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 minutes, or OFF).
  2. The radio will automatically turn off after the selected time.

5. Display Dimmer

The 4.17-inch red LED display has a full-range dimmer to adjust brightness from 0% to 100%.

To adjust the display brightness, rotate the DIMMER knob located on the top right side of the unit. Turn clockwise to increase brightness and counter-clockwise to decrease brightness.

Maintenance

  • Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Keep the unit away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
  • Do not expose the unit to water or moisture.
  • If the unit will not be used for a long period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting
