1. Introduction

The KEDIERS K4 ATX Mid Tower PC Case is designed to provide a robust and aesthetically pleasing enclosure for your computer components. Featuring a panoramic design with 270° wide-angle tempered glass panels, it offers a clear view of your internal hardware. This case comes with four pre-installed 120mm fans for optimized airflow, including three intake fans and one exhaust fan. It supports a wide range of motherboard sizes and offers ample space for various components, ensuring both performance and visual appeal for your office or gaming environment.

2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before installing or operating the PC case. Failure to do so may result in personal injury or damage to the product or other components.

  • Electrical Safety: Always disconnect power from all components before installing or removing any parts from the PC case.
  • Handling Tempered Glass: The case features tempered glass panels. Handle them with care to prevent breakage. Avoid impacts or dropping the glass.
  • Sharp Edges: Be cautious of sharp edges inside the case during installation to avoid cuts.
  • Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the PC case to prevent overheating. Do not block air vents.
  • Static Electricity: Discharge static electricity from your body before handling sensitive electronic components by touching a grounded metal object.

4. Setup and Component Installation

Follow these steps for proper setup and installation of your PC components within the KEDIERS K4 case.

4.1. Removing Tempered Glass Side Panel

To access the interior of the case, the tempered glass side panel must be removed. Locate the thumb screws securing the panel. Carefully unscrew them and gently pull the panel outwards in the direction indicated by the arrow on the panel's edge. Support the panel as it detaches to prevent it from falling.

4.2. Motherboard Installation

The KEDIERS K4 case supports ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. Align your motherboard with the standoffs inside the case. Secure it using the appropriate screws from the accessories kit. The case is designed to adapt to new innovative motherboard installation needs, including back-plug motherboard configurations.

4.3. Drive Installation

The case is equipped with dedicated trays for 2.5-inch SSDs and 3.5-inch HDDs. Locate the drive bays and secure your storage devices using the provided screws. The large back space facilitates easy storage of drives and cable management.

4.4. Cooling System and Component Clearance

The KEDIERS K4 case supports extensive cooling configurations. It can accommodate CPU coolers up to 175mm in height and GPUs up to 400mm in length. It supports up to 10 x 120mm case fans and 2 simultaneous radiators, including 360mm radiators. The case comes with four pre-installed 120mm fans (three intake, one exhaust) for immediate cooling performance.

4.5. Fan Connections

Ensure all pre-installed fans and any additional fans are correctly connected to your motherboard or fan controller. The case fans support motherboards with appropriate fan headers. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific fan header locations and connection instructions.

5. Operating the PC Case

The KEDIERS K4 PC case features a convenient I/O panel for easy access to essential functions and ports.

5.1. I/O Panel Functions

The top I/O panel provides the following connections and controls:

  • 1 x Type-C Port: For high-speed data transfer with compatible devices.
  • 1 x USB 3.0 Port: For high-speed data transfer.
  • 1 x USB 2.0 Port: For standard data transfer.
  • 1 x HD Audio Jack: For connecting headphones or microphones.
  • Power Button: To turn the computer on or off.
  • Restart Button: To restart the computer.
  • LED Switch Button: To control the lighting effects of the pre-installed fans.

Note: USB ports are primarily for data transfer and are not recommended for power charging, as most motherboards USB ports support a maximum voltage of 5V.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your KEDIERS K4 PC case.

6.1. Cleaning Dust Filters

The case features thoughtfully designed high-quality dust filters to prevent dust accumulation. Regularly clean these filters to maintain normal ventilation and reduce dust inside the case. The dust filter mesh magnetic sticker design prevents it from falling off easily.

  • Gently remove the magnetic dust filters from the top, front, and bottom of the case.
  • Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove accumulated dust.
  • Wipe the filters with a damp cloth if necessary, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching.

6.2. General Cleaning

For external surfaces, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away dust. For the tempered glass panels, use a glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth to avoid streaks or scratches.

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your KEDIERS K4 PC case.

7.1. Fans Not Spinning or RGB Issues

  • Check Connections: Ensure all fan power cables and RGB cables are securely connected to the motherboard or fan controller. Refer to Figure 4.5 for proper fan connections.
  • Motherboard Headers: Verify that your motherboard fan headers are enabled in the BIOS/UEFI settings.
  • Software Control: If your fans have RGB lighting, ensure any control software (if applicable) is correctly installed and configured.
  • Power Supply: Confirm that your power supply unit (PSU) is providing sufficient power to all components, including the fans.

7.2. Poor Airflow or High Temperatures

  • Clean Dust Filters: Regularly clean the dust filters as described in Section 6.1.
  • Fan Orientation: Ensure fans are oriented correctly for optimal airflow (intake and exhaust). The pre-installed fans are configured for efficient cooling.
  • Cable Management: Improve cable management to reduce obstructions to airflow inside the case.
  • Component Clearance: Verify that large components like GPUs or CPU coolers are not obstructing airflow paths.

7.3. I/O Panel Ports Not Functioning

  • Internal Connections: Check that the I/O panel cables (USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HD Audio, Power, Reset, LED) are securely connected to the correct headers on your motherboard.
  • Driver Installation: Ensure all necessary motherboard drivers are installed, especially for USB and audio functionality.
