1. Important Safety Information

• Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.
• Maintain a minimum distance of 17.7 inches (45 cm) from walls and other objects to ensure proper airflow.
• Do not block air inlets or outlets.
• Unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
• Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug. Contact customer support for assistance.
• Keep children and pets away from the unit during operation.
• Wait at least 24 hours after receiving your shipment before plugging the unit into the main outlet to ensure optimal performance.
• An odor may be present when first turning on the unit, which will slowly disappear as the unit begins to cool. This is normal.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unit Placement

Place the portable air conditioner on a firm, level surface in the desired room. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper air circulation. A minimum distance of 17.7 inches (45 cm) from walls and furniture is recommended.

3.2 Window Kit and Exhaust Hose Installation

1. Connect the hose connector to one end of the exhaust hose.
2. Connect the window kit adapter to the other end of the exhaust hose.
3. Extend the adjustable window kit to fit your window opening (suitable for vertical or horizontal windows from 25.6" to 50.2").
4. Close your window to secure the kit in place.
5. Attach the hose connector to the exhaust air outlet on the back of the AC unit.
6. Extend the exhaust hose and insert the window kit adapter into the opening in the window kit.

3.3 Drain Hose Connection

The unit features a self-evaporating system, which typically reduces the need for manual draining. However, for continuous operation in high humidity or for manual emptying, use the provided drain hose.

• Continuous Draining: Connect the drain hose to the top drain port. Ensure the hose is correctly connected and its end is not immersed in water to allow for gravity drainage.
• Manual Draining: When the internal water tank is full, the unit will indicate a full tank. Remove the rubber plug from the bottom drain hole and tilt the air conditioner slightly to drain the water into a suitable container.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The unit features a touch-sensitive LED display panel on the top for direct control.

• Power Button: Turns the unit On/Off.
• Mode Button: Cycles through Cool, Dehumidifier, and Fan modes.
• Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed (Low, Medium, High).
• Up/Down Buttons: Adjusts desired temperature (61°F–90°F) or timer settings.
• Timer/WiFi Button: Activates timer function or WiFi pairing mode.
• Sleep Button: Activates Sleep Mode for quiet, energy-efficient operation.
• Lock Button: Activates Child Lock to prevent accidental changes.

4.2 Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance of up to 16.5 feet (5 meters).

4.3 Smart App & WiFi Control

Connect your portable AC unit to your home WiFi network and control it from anywhere using the dedicated smartphone app. The app is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

4.4 Modes of Operation

• Cool Mode: Provides powerful cooling for your room. Set your desired temperature between 61°F and 90°F.
• Dehumidifier Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air, ideal for humid conditions.

4.5 Special Functions

• 24-Hour Timer: Program the unit to automatically turn on or off within a 24-hour period.
• Sleep Mode: Dims the LED display and adjusts temperature for comfortable, undisturbed sleep while preventing overcooling.
• Child Lock: Prevents accidental changes to settings by locking the control panel.

4.6 Airflow Adjustment

The unit features manual 90° vertical adjustment and 50°-60° horizontal adjustment for directing airflow.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Filter Cleaning

The unit is equipped with a washable pre-filter. Regular cleaning of the filter is essential for maintaining optimal performance and air quality.

1. Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
2. Locate and remove the pre-filter from the back of the unit.
3. Wash the filter under running water with a mild detergent.
4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling.
5. Reinsert the dry filter into the unit and plug the unit back in.

5.2 Draining Procedures

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Wiytamo Portable Air Conditioner, please refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

• Unit does not turn on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the circuit breaker has tripped.
• Unit is not cooling effectively: Verify that the exhaust hose is properly installed and vented outside. Check if the air filter is clean and not obstructed. Ensure windows and doors are closed in the room. The room size should be within the recommended 450 sq.ft.
• Water tank full indicator is on: Drain the water from the unit using the manual draining method described in Section 3.3.
• Unusual odor: A slight odor may be present during the first few uses; this is normal and will dissipate. If the odor persists, clean the air filter.
• WiFi connection issues: Ensure your unit is within range of your WiFi router. Follow the app's instructions for re-pairing if necessary.
